How to unlock the What Energy Crisis? achievement in Tropico 5 - Definitive Guide
Select multiplayer from the main menu and search for an online game to join or set one up yourself. If you want to do this the fast way you should select the modern age era and unlimited money. As soon as the game starts, you should begin building a few Geothermal plants since these need supply input and no roads connected to them. You can check the total energy output of your plants by holding then pressing and it should tell you on the Economics tab. As soon as you and your co-op partner/competitor have reached over a 1,000 energy output, ask him to share the energy by holding and pressing . On the last tab there will be an option to ask the other person to share and as soon as they accept to share the energy, the trophy will pop for the both of you. If you would like to boost this trophy and you’re looking for a boosting partner, then please use the official boosting thread found HERE.
Once these are placed, press + and scroll down to your game partner. From here you are going to check the box to "Share electricity". In order for this to work, your partner must do the same. They must also have buildings that need electricity to run, i.e. Pharmaceutical Company, TV Stations...
Shortly after you both sign the agreement, you will receive the achievement.
In co-op mode, build power plants for a total of 1000MW, then share (+) the electricity with another player.
It turned out.... Drum roll.....
R2+O (Politics) Select an opponent - Share energy with the opponent - The opponent must confirm this.
1. We are building 4 geothermal and one nuclear power plants.
2. Budget to the maximum, foreign workers to the maximum, we benefit completely.
3. We wait for the workers to arrive and start plowing.
4. Click on any of the stations and see how much energy is available.
5. If more than 1,000 are available, then we enter into an agreement as written above.
All these actions must be performed by both players.
