Tropico 5 - Penultimate Edition

Mission 6 in Waterborne can be done in one of 2 ways:
-Doing 5 objectives to progress the Mission.
-Ignore the main objectives, and fight "Captain Plant", a singular soldier who repeatedly comes to your island, becoming stronger each time.

You'll want to do the second method, as just beating the mission will not get this achievement. Try not to sell the Black Pearl for money, as keeping it will get you the "My Precious" achievement.

You will want an excellent Military by the time Captain Plant's final visit comes; Captain Plant has something like ~6000 attack and 25000 HP, whereas regular soldiers are like 80 attack and 7000 HP or so. The easiest method to counter him is to build a huge cluster of Guard Towers on roads leading to the Palace (so he won't destroy it). I had probably ~20 or so Guard Towers surrounding the Palace, plus another group of 16 or so nearby. Don't put them too far away from the road, or they won't be able to reach him. By putting all of your towers near other towers, they can team up on him and take him down quickly (although he will take down towers quickly in his last visit). Combine this with 4-6 Army Bases and 4-6 Barracks, and he should go down somewhat easily at the end.
