How to unlock the Kill all Humans achievement in Tropico 5 - Penultimate Edition - Definitive Guide

The grindy one of the pack. Possible in campaign, but it takes playing long enough to unlock. I went sandbox, unlimited money in modern times.

Build a drone building (I bought upgrade as well) and essentially all you have to do is stay in power. Drone strikes are automatic, so just keep the game going to unlock. With unlimited money, there's no reason to lose.

Without any military building, you can force the drones to kill people by selecting them and choosing "kill" option. Quicker than waiting for automatic strikes.

Took me roughly 15 years, so definitely keep on playing. Maybe even 20 (that would be one drone kill a year)

Is this in one game or accumulative?

Thanks to a tip from LibelluleGino in the comments for the other solution, I think I came out with a good way to get this done, with no grinding required.

This is really good to pair with The Greybar Hotal achievement, as doing that will create a lot of unrest, which we will need to create rebels, to have the drones kill.

Tropico 5 - Penultimate EditionThe Greybar HotelEarthboundXThe The Greybar Hotel achievement in Tropico 5 - Penultimate Edition worth 57 pointsHave 20 prisoners in Dungeons and Supermax Prisons

So you'll want to start on Sandbox with unlimited money, on Modern Times with 200 population. Start by creating about 4-5 Police Stations, 4 Supermax Prisons, and 2-3 Dungeons. Then build the Drones, a Ministry of Information, and a line of Guard Towers next to your Palace just in case. Fully upgrade everything, and then fire every soldier in your Palace and close the job slots. That way you'll have no military that will try to kill anyone you select, only the drones will kill them. Then start arresting everyone you can see, this should be creating unrest, which will then create rebels, which will have a raised yellow fist icons above their heads. Start selecting all the rebels you can find and then selecting kill, and the drones will start their work. Crime lords may also show up, they will have hat icons above their heads, you can kill them as well. Killing random innocent civilians will not count toward the 20 kills needed, it has to be a rebel, crime lord or a foreign spy. Though killing random people will also create more unrest, thus creating more rebels.

A couple Police Blimps may help as well, so you'll possibly have a wider area to see people's roles(Whether they are a rebel or crime lord)in. The Secret Police and Big Brother edicts also helps the Police spot rebels faster I believe.

That's basically it, I ended up having a harder time getting 20 total people in jail at the same time.
