How to unlock the Make Tropico Great Again! achievement in Tropico 6 - Definitive Guide

Can be completed in sandbox mode.
Create a random map with the following customizations:

Starting Money: unlimited

Victory by Tourists: 50



Load the map, spend a good chunk of your money on tourist stuff. Wait for 50 tourists to arrive.

Make sure it's on Cold War or later setting too, or you can't build tourist docks or hotels for decades.

Set unlimited money and Cold War era, use quick build, bump the starting population, and set game speed to max. Fairly incomplete solution, but the basic idea gets a thumbs up. You'll also get the Watch the World Burn achievement, if you haven't already, as long as you don't build a fire station.

I noticed that Unlimited money disable achievements. Tried to do 3 of them on Sandbox and nothing.

Took off Unlimited money and started getting them.

Can anyone else confirm this?

They must have changed the game after launch, so creative mode options couldn't unlock achievements. These sandbox achievements are still super easy starting at $200,000 anyway.
