How to unlock the We Don't Have Time For That achievement in Tropico 6 - Definitive Guide

- starting money: unlimited
- starting era: any but colonial (I prefer modern times since there are more ways to keep your citizens happy so they don't become rebels)
When Penultimo says the citizens are demanding elections select the bottom option (It's Not A good Time (-10 Personal Experience For Each Eligible Voter)). You will need to do this twice.
A short time after the 2nd time you pick that option the achievement will pop.
If you're playing on sandbox in modern times have a space program and do prestige missions to keep citizens happy.

Great solution, worked easily. I used modern times and actually only sent one space mission for prior to getting the achievement. Just kept an eye on happiness overall and built out a diverse economy.

I opened the first chapter of the tutorial to get the "played 5 hours of Tropico" achievement, left the computer, and this popped for me halfway, too.
