How to unlock the Glass Ceiling achievement in Trulon: The Shadow Engine - Definitive Guide

Warning: Once you beat the boss you can not continue with your characters as you will be stuck in the first village. I suggest grinding this before the final boss.

The max level for this game is 30 and the first character that will reach level 30 is Gladia. Once you get to the end of the game you should be close to level 25 which means you will have a couple levels to go. I personally just walked around the overworld running into enemies and beating them as quickly as possible. The max amount of XP I got from a battle was 7250 while my lowest amount was 150, there is no way to guarantee a high amount of exp for a battle due to the enemies being random so the time to get this achievement will vary depending on what you run into.

I think you should've added the fact that there's no ng+, more explicitly, because once I killed the final boss, I ended up stuck in the 1st village with all my characters lvl 26. A real waste as I only needed 4 lvls but I won't downvote you though, game has been a really glitchy one overall...

Yeah, I had nothing better to do but level up because of the whole boss glitches and stuff. There are quite a few achievements that are actually missable. Only found out last night you can't do anything after so I'll change it now.

I need 2 other playthroughs now, one identical to my 1st one but grabbing all the cheevos possible like the lvl cap and a speedrun playthrough. As for Hunter x hunter, this remains a mystery to me...

It's still broken so you can't get it till they fix the fight

I guess yeah... The retribution cheevo is broken too, I did it like 20 times in my 1st playthrough but nothing. I, then, pm'd you and you told me you had done it when you 1st meet Roth so, in my 2nd runthrough I decided to do exactly like you and I did. I killed the last of the 3 guards with the retribution's counterattack and guess what? Nothing. Broken as fuck.

Yeah the game is riddled with bugs unfortunately, don't know what could be done for it to pop correctly sadly. Some were fixed, but others were not

Best place to level up is Trupidia, IMO (first landmass). The ceiling for experience gains isn't as high (~5500ish) but the floor isn't nearly as low. The lowest I've seen is 2000-3000, but in Maelon some fights give less than a thousand. I think the white robots are bugged and give less experience than they should, as they're as strong as the invader enemies but give much less experience, to the point that fighting them is a waste of time.

I managed to get to the end in 4:45 on my first playthrough and after getting the achievements for beating the game and under 5 hours achievements i dashboarded and deleted the local save on the console and reloaded the game it put me just after beating the boss and before going to the village so you can backtrack and go grind to 30 without having to do another playthrough if you managed the under 5 hours.

The highest level you can reach in the game is Level 30. You will probably not hit this before getting to the final boss, so make sure you turn back and go to the overworld to fight random encounters until you get Gladia to Level 30. If you're going for the speed run achievement and you're nearing the five hour mark, I would suggest getting that and starting a new game for this since that is the harder of the two to earn.

NOTE: If you're grinding in the Maleon area, never fight the white robots. You will get almost no experience for some reason. I think it's just glitched and only the other enemies in the fight award xp. To be safe, just grind in the first area of the game near Meadow Hills. You'll average 3-5k per battle.
