How to unlock the Hunter X Hunter achievement in Trulon: The Shadow Engine - Definitive Guide

This achievement is now unlockable as of 25/04/17

Word of warning: The game glitched going into battle and I lost all my progress. A patch is coming out soon to fix this issue.

Before entering the lab in Maelon city (the story will take you there), talk to one of the guards just outside and he will give you this quest.
The quest involves going back to the Undercity, where you got the fake ID for entering the lab. The undercity can be found on the lower part of the Maelon City map.
Once there, you'll encounter 3 shadow foxes scattered across the map, which you need to beat. After these fights, a message will pop up that the beast has appeared. Go to the sewer-like room, where the dead man lays, to fight it. Unfortunately, my game glitched and I lost all progress.

i can comfirm this is glitched tried it sevral times and the game just wont show a menu at all

Also even though there was an update for the game this is still glitched and is unobtainable

Same as the final boss it will have the same thing happen, though I have never lost my progress before

Not for this achievement, they fixed every other issue but this one. I had written my first comment before noticing that the game had an update.

You will get this quest from a guard outside the lab in Maleon City. Return to the Undercity and hunt down the three shadow fox enemies and you will get a notification that you've heard a noise. You will find this boss the central room where the dead guy is. This is a tough fight, and it can't be stunned, so try to maximize your defense, heal often, and basically just outlast it. Setting it on fire with Gladia will help get some extra damage in, and try to Taunt with Roth to keep the damage coming his way.

You can continue with the story and come back later if you'd like. After another 2-3 levels from where you first encounter the quest, the fight is very simple.
