How to unlock the Sinner achievement in Truth or Lies - Definitive Guide
While many of the other guides for this achievement seem to include making high pitched noises and playing different tracks into your microphone will eventually get you this achievement, I found this method to be (possibly) 100% successful.
I used it 15 times in a row with a lie registered every single time.
The easiest way to do this is in a 2-Player game of the shortest length. When creating the profiles, do NOT do voice calibration.
The Method:
Hold your mic against your throat so it will pick up your vocal chords while humming. As soon as the timer begins, start with a high pitched hum and hold it until about 70-80% of the blue bar fills up. Once the bar fills up to that point, drop the tone of your hum to a deeper, bass-like hum until the bar fills.

Thank you! This method consistently registered as a lie for me. (So much so that I got the cheevo during my only long game.)

"I found a high pitched "eeeeeee" will register a lie almost every single time."
I tried everything from the guides above and other guides elsewhere. This has given me a lie every time for 12 straight questions.

Best solution by far, worked first time with an uncalibrated profile. Done with this P.O.S game now

Agreed. At first it didnt work, but then I put some lung into it screeching like a banshee and it worked. +1

The solutions that tell you not to calibrate your profile are a waste of time. Here is the best way to unlock this achievement:
Start Game -> 2 Players -> Normal
Create a new profile for either one or both of the players. When it asks if you want to calibrate, select yes! For the three truthful answers, talk in a low voice. For the three wrong answers, record the sound from the Youtube video (any point in the video will work).
Now simply play this video to answer every question in the game and it will recognize it as a wrong answer. Answer every question with a lie in a single round and the achievement is yours.

Telling a Lie is much harder than telling the Truth. To make this as easy as possible start a 2 player game on Normal and just keep lying until this unlocks. It will unlock at the end of the round. Refer below for the best tips I can give on lying:
How to tell the Lie:
Lying is much harder than telling the Truth. The best way I was able to lie was to use a very monotone voice, speak quietly, and break up my words so the sound breaks apart. To be honest, it worked best when I tried to sound very uninterested and sarcastic. I was saying: "I just want this game to be over. Please." lol

Excellent call with the "I just want this game to be over"....
Keep saying that but in a William Shanter... I ... Just... want...this...game...to...be ...over!
The game registers a lie 100% the time :D

The only way i could get this was by talking in a mono-toned voice and trailing off towards the end of the sentence. I found it easier to play a 2 player 15 minute game, giving you 2 chances to get all lies for a player each round.
The Bark ringtone on the iPhone. Best solution I found. worked 5/6 times I tried it. bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark bark BARK
Neither of the solutions would work out for me, due to my laptop speakers being absolutely awful.
Until i decided that i dont wanna replay Still alive which worked 95% of the time but never 4 times in a row. Neither did i wanna destroy my hearing, so i decided to check my youtube favorites and apparently screamo = lying.
It starts with alaska - Everytime we touch
Is the song that worked out for me i started at 40 seconds and then just kept it going back to the screamo part over and over
Hope this help someone else :)

I had a lot of trouble lying, the best way I found was to use this site http://www.bgfl.org/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks2....htm then set it to guitar and play the C#1 note about 3 or 4 times, wait about half a second between notes, worked everytime :) I did this on an UN-calibrated profile
To unlock this achievement, create a two new characters, choose calibrate your voice and then set the Truth to a high pitch voice while setting the Lies to a deep voice (do your best!)

Here's the recording I made to get the lies, when you hear the popping sound stop the recording or move it away from the mic and it'll be a lie if you did everything correctly! Best of luck!

What worked for me consistently was this video
At 00:38, there is a loud warning sound. I propped my mic up in front of my computer speaker and played that all the way through the three warning buzzes and it gave me a lie every time.

Same idea as "Saint" except screech into the mic so it registers as a lie for every question in a round. Will pop during the round results.
