This is an easy way to defeat the boss.
Slowly walk into the Scavenger Boss area. Once you can lock onto the boss, do so and back up until you are on the far side of the bridge. Then shoot the boss with your Fire Wand to start the fight and drop the bridge. Block ranged attacks and wait for the boss to lunge forward. When he does, pull him into the pit to finish the fight. Lastly, collect the Blue Key to unlock the achievement and return it to the temple.

I thought of a cheese method for this boss seeing as I was having a tricky time with him - just equip the Gun and Inverted Ash ability card and blast away. I had enough MP by this boss for 3 shots, plus 7 HP/MP bottles for an extra shot each then finished him up with a few sticks of dynamite. It was the easiest way I could think of!

The blue key is the longest of them all. You need to access The Quarry, and this is done by using your newly acquired Magic Orb to grapple along the western edge of the overworld to a path that leads north along the edge of the map. Following this path, and activating a couple obelisks, opens the door down in the distance to the Ziggurat. You now need to progress through the relatively linear Quarry area (feeling free to grab the Shotgun in a chest, but it isn't needed for anything) to get all the way to the bottom and finally enter the door leading to the "In the Ziggurat" area. Head through this linear area to finally reach the Hidden Vault. This is a short area with a boss fight at the end. Beat it to get the blue key as your reward.

Obtained after defeating the Scavanger Boss at the end of The Quarry area. The boss is fairly tough, take it slow. If you have the Gun, unloading 3 shots of it into the boss while they are getting up removes about 1/4 of their HP.
