I'd recommend using the Shockwave and the Straight Shot passive as you can drive the ball hard and fast and line up long shots & hit the ball way harder than normal hits at max boost. A lot of players seem to rely on the Sticky powerup to just carry the ball straight into shortcuts & optimal routes.
