To do a special trick, you need to first fill up your special meter, which can be found on the bottom left corner of the screen. It can be quickly filled up by doing 180/360 grab tricks, for example. Just jump in the air, hold down

and steer left or right.

After you have filled up your special meter, get enough air and press

in the air. There is one tutorial requiring you to do a special trick, it's a good place to nail this cheevo.

To preform a Special Tick, you must first build up the special meter by doing ticks and combos. Once your special meter is filled, start to get some air and while in mid-air press to preform a Special Trick.

Turbo - Super Tuck 'n Roll
Whiplash - Super Burnout
Skidmark - Super Boost
Smoove Move - Super Bounce/Jump
Burn - Super Drift Speed

This will unlock during the Tutorial - Specials portion. But can also be unlocked during a Timed or Freeplay game session.

A special trick is achieved the same way as a special ability, except you do it while in the air. You must land the trick for it to count. You will need greater height to land this. When you activate special tricks, you will gain a considerably higher score. This will also unlock during the tutorial.
