The T-Rex boss is located towards the end of the final level, 8: The Final Confrontation.
After making your way through the level, you will ride an elevator up and cross a room with hanging dead hunters. Jump to the yellow teleporter in the far wall to get to the boss arena.
By this stage of the game you should have a good idea of what to do - keep your distance while you fire away with your powerful weapons (or whatever you've got!). The T-Rex will charge towards you so run around in circles to maintain as much distance as you can. There is ammo to be found at the edge of the arena so you can restock if required.

You will obtain this achievement towards the end of the Level 8, 'The Final Confrontation'.
This is probably the hardest fight in the game, keep moving and keep shooting, ammo will spawn round the outside constantly but make sure you don't get trapped in a corner.
Upon killing it you will be rewarded with the final piece of the Chronoscepter.
