First of all I suggest that you do not even equip your Shotgun and use any other weapon that you deem fit, take the level slowly and pick off your enemies from a distance with the Sniper or Plasma Rifle, then when you defeat the T-Rex and are low on ammo take out your Bow and use the TEK arrows to kill the remaining enemies.
