Two Point Campus

This guide is for those who have found that the achievement progress is stuck for them, and is also a faster method than unlocking it through natural gameplay.

Huge thanks to TwoPointChizel of the TPC Forums and GroungeMonkey for both finding/suggesting this fix. I am just making it clearer.

Note that you have to do all the steps below in one sitting. It should take around 20-30 minutes.

Create a sandbox save in creative mode.

For university, pick one with lots of space; I used Two Point University.

Start running the general knowledge course (This requires the fewest rooms and maintenance) and place a small lecture theatre.

Fill the rest of the building with one huge training room.

Inside the training room, place 50 training pods and start upgrading them all to Level 2 then Level 3.

Hire as many janitors as you can with the upgrading skill so that you can do this as quickly as possible. Turn away janitors without.

I am sure going into sandbox and making a university focused on one thing can be used to fix other achievements that are stuck, or as a faster method of unlocking.

Spanner That Works - Upgrade 100 machines

Janitors keep the campus neat and clean, maintain items that deteriorate, and provide security when necessary. Increase maintenance and bonus effects by having a Janitor with the Mechanic skill upgrade key items within classrooms that have been researched via the Research Lab.

Then upgrade 100 machines like a Training Pod (training room) or the Omni-Cure (medical office) for example. You can do this by clicking on the specific item in the room and selecting the last option “upgrade” in the menu. If it is grayed out, then you must research the option in the Research lab.

Last tip: make sure to have multiple Janitors with the Mechanic skill. Train these janitors to have higher skill levels, this way it will take less time to upgrade 100 machines.
