How to unlock the World 2 achievement in Two Point Hospital - Definitive Guide
***I've copied this over from my solution for the Windows version of the game. It plays out almost the same, but I noticed some differences in Tumble (which might be a little random anyway).***
***This solution looks at the requirements for the relevant hospitals but will not go into specifics about how to play - there's just too much to cover! I recommend leaving the REMIX levels to last, meaning you'll have both the knowledge and the equipment/rooms to make this an easy achievement.***
The Remix versions of these hospitals can be found by selecting the hospital, then pressing to get to the R.E.M.I.X. tab. I didn't make a note of it but according to the wiki page you need to unlock 1-star at the regular Flemington hospital to unlock Remix.
For this achievement, you just need to unlock a star in the Mitton University, Tumble and Flemington Remix Hospitals. Assuming you've played through a good portion of the game, these levels shouldn't pose much of a challenge.
Note that the achievement tracker did not track this achievement, but you can see how many R.E.M.I.X. stars you have in the bottom-right of the world map screen.
So you just need to meet the unlock requirements for 7 additional plots (you obviously start with 1). You start with the objectives for Plot 5 and 8. As you progress, you will only ever have objectives for 2 plots and the order may change depending on how you go about it.
Plot 5 Objective – Generate 450 Research Points
Plot 8 Objective – Train 5 Staff
Plot 3 Objective
- Train 2 Staff in Psychiatry
- Train 2 Staff in Injection Administration
- Train 2 Staff in Ward Management
Plot 2 Objective
- Place 7 Server & Super Computer
- Get a Level 5 Research
Plot 7 Objective
- Train 3 Staff in Treatment II
Plot 6 Objective
- Generate 800 Research Points (in 180 Days) - if you fail the counter and time will reset
Plot 4 Objective
- Train 20 Staff
- Generate 2500 Research Points
- Cure Rate of 70%
So just expand the hospital as you usually would, with an eye on the objectives. As soon as you unlock the 8th Plot, the Remix 1-Star page will appear.
It’s worth saying that you’ll probably fail a few attempts, but you should still be profitable enough to ‘stay alive’. Use the trick from Topless Mountain and set all your Treatment costs to +100% to ensure good cashflow - you'll get warnings about your rep but it won't matter (remember to update costs whenever a new treatment is diagnosed).
Keep levelling up staff and building rooms. Below is a list of what I used.
5 x GP Offices
1 x Ward (5 beds, 2 screens)
3 x Fracture Wards (each with 4 traction beds, 1 plaster caster)
1 x Pharmacy
2x General Diagnosis
1 x De-Lux Clinic
1 x Pans Lab
Train your staff accordingly. Use the 3 existing training rooms. You want plenty of nurses trained in Ward Management with the rest in Treatment/Diagnosis. For the Doctors, just go with General Practice.
Simply keep at it, building and training as required until you pass the wave to unlock the star.
***On the Windows version I needed 3 x Psychiatry so there might be some randomness when it comes to the illnesses you'll encounter. Certainly the two wards will feature, but perhaps don't 'pre-build' any of the other treatment rooms until they are required.***
Starting Objective: Cure & Lure
- Complete an Illness Marketing Campaign
- Cure 4 Patients in Pharmacy
Build a GP’s Office and a Pharmacy and run a Pharmacy Campaign. During this phase, I got the following side quests:
- Cure 3 Patients in Pharmacy (150 Days).
- Complete a Marketing Campaign
This will unlock the objectives for the Remix star on this level.
Star Challenge
- Get Balance to $350,000
- Conduct 35 Months of Marketing
- Cure Rate of 70%
In addition to the usual running of the hospital, you want to be running Marketing campaigns back to back (it doesn't matter which type, although see the warning below about side quests).
I managed to squeeze everything into the starting building, with the following rooms:
3 x General Practice
1 x Psychiatry
1 x Marketing (I sold one of the existing rooms)
1 x Staff
1 x Pharmacy
1 x Ward (5 beds, 1 screen)
1 x Fracture Ward (4 beds, a caster)
1 x Injection Room
1 x Pans Lab
1 x De-Lux Clinic
1 x Training
1 x Toilets (1 per building)
You may get patients needing other rooms, so use this as a template if you want but build depending on needs.
I didn't record them all as they are quite easy, but here is a selection of the side quests I was given:
- Cure 3 Patients in Ward (150 Days)
- Train an Assistant (level 1 training)
- Cure 4 Patients in Ward (150 Days)
- Complete a Marketing Campaign (had to be an illness)
- Cure 3 Patients in Psychiatry (150 Days)
- Cure 3 Patients in Pharmacy (150 Days)
- Cure 3 Patients in Ward (150 Days)
- Cure 3 Patients in Ward (150 Days)
Some of the requirements were quite exact. I trained an Assistant to level 2 but it didn't count - it had to be level 1 of something. Likewise, the marketing campaign had to be an illness rather than a general campaign to count. Not a huge issue but you may have to try a few different things to get the quests to register.
Once I'd met the campaigns objective, I was consistently at around 80% cure rate, so once I got to $100K I took out a $250K loan to reach a balance of $350K, unlocking the star and the achievement (I had to return to the world map before the achievement popped)!

TUMBLE
This one’s interesting and quite fun! You start with $600,000. All your staff are untrained and the hospital needs some work. You must survive a single wave of patients which starts in 100 days (note that after a failure the next wave starts after just 30 days or so). The wave is 100 patients and you must achieve a Target Cure Rate of 75%.It’s worth saying that you’ll probably fail a few attempts, but you should still be profitable enough to ‘stay alive’. FLEMINGTON
Arguably the easiest of the lot, this is a regular hospital with a set of starting objectives before the 1-star objectives. In addition to regular income, you will receive regular side quests, most of which are very simple and will provide welcome funds.Starting Objective: Cure & Lure

For anyone who had an issue like me, I had to not only go to the world map but completely quit and reload for the achievement to pop.
