From the main menu, select "Art Camp" and "Tilt Maze". Now go through each maze until you beat all 40. Make sure your average time for each level is under 1 minute and when you beat the last maze, you'll get the achievement. If not, select any maze and it will tell you your overall time. I suggest trying to shave off time in the early mazes, as they can be completed most of the time in 30-45 seconds.

As Ibanez v7 points out, you do not need to finish maze 40 at all. If you complete 1-39 under 40 minutes and have maze 40 unlocked, all you have to do is beat one of your times on a previous maze and the achievement should unlock (thanks Ibanez v7). Also, according to unkled20 and Rosshk, the update did not patch this.

It's probably worth mentioning that you DO NOT need to do the last maze at all. Finish 1 - 39 then press B to quit before starting maze 40. This way it is unlocked but you do not have a time recorded for it. Then, go back and beat the time on one of the previous mazes again and as long as your total time is under 40 minutes, achievement unlocked. If not, keep chipping away at mazes 1 - 39 until your total time is under 40 minutes then beat the time of a single maze again.

What Ibanez V7 said is right, just be under 40 Minutes. Here i tell you what i did: i played through all mazes and was at 41:33. Then i replayed the first 8 mazes (select the 1. Level) and then continue until the Achievement pops. Was very easy because at the start of the game me and i think many others did not go for best times. I think the last 5-8 mazes was also above 1:30 because they have much holes and you need to be very carefully, but dont stress yourself, just finish the maze. Keep always in mind, this is a cheap kids game and its not hard at all.

ibanez V7's tip needs to be added to the OP. That alone probably shaves off 1:30 and the stress of having to do level 40. I got seriously nervous during stages 34 to 39. Doesn't make things easier when you're twitching like crazy.

I don't understand the need to shave time, I did all 40 half a sleep and had 15 minutes to spare. Just get familiar to the movement and it's a doddle.

Attention: this trophy has a glitch that could help you.
This trophy is the toughest one in this game.
You have to beat 40 tilt mazes with a combined time that's less than 40 minutes.

The first types of mazes are easy, it only gets tough when holes start to appear in the maze.

Here are some useful tips to get the trophy:

  • Play normally and try to finish each maze without stressing yourself
  • After beating all the mazes and your total is above 40 minutes, then replay the maze with the highest complete time.( you will be able to see the time it took you to finish each maze and your total time)
  • With each 10 mazes you finish ( from 1-10 / 11-20... ) the game will reload the same mazes in the same order but with more holes each time, so it is recommended to get used to each maze as you play through.
  • It is known that maze #40 is hard but thanks to SoopaKilla, there is a tested way to avoid doing it.

"So I found a glitch that actually worked to my advantage since I was getting pretty frustrated with the 40th paint maze. You don't actually have to beat the 40th maze, just finish the 39th then get your time under 40 minutes cumulatively and the trophy will pop. Hope this helps those who have had lots of trouble with the paint mazes like me."

If you beat all the 39 mazes with a time less than 40 minutes, then replay any old maze and beat it and preferably beat your record in it, the trophy will pop after that.

This is probably the most boring and difficult trophy in the game, but there is a glitch that makes it much easier to get. Just play for fun until you get to the quintessence of hell - the fortieth level. Fortunately, you do not need to complete it at all. Go to the menu and make sure that your total time for all levels is less than forty minutes (it is not difficult, the main thing is to play back the time on the first levels, this will come in handy later and do not bother after the thirtieth, the time played earlier should be enough). After that, replay any level and improve your previous result (this is important). After that, get the coveted trophy.

Plus, there is another way that makes life much easier. Switch the uDraw tablet to any port except the first one, and connect your DualShock 3 to the first port. True, you will have to turn it upside down, but I will say that playing on the gyroscope from the gamepad is much more convenient. Mainly due to the smaller angle of inclination. Maybe you will not even need the glitch and you will pass the fortieth level on your own.

In addition to the above method with DualShock 3, there is another way that significantly simplifies obtaining this trophy. If you have a DualShock 2 or any other controller without gyroscopes connected to the PS3 via an adapter. Then feel free to switch the uDraw tablet to any port except the first, and connect your "disabled" controller to the first port. In this case, the ball will be controlled not by tilting, but by the right analog joystick of the controller, which is much simpler and cleaner than using gyroscopes. Using this method, you will pass level 40 without problems .
