Ok this is actually way easy. After you have obtained the Captaincy for the country, you can get this achievement. I used a striker for this, and that makes it easier just run in and shoot goals, make passing plays that increase yards towards the goal, and make sure to get assists as well as completing dribbles.

It is probably easier to do this with a Forward as then you can score goals easier and improve your player rating. If you finish the game with the highest player rating you will be man of the match. You do not have to get this as Captain. Just score a few goals and stay in position when defending. I chose to do a few passes with defenders and then just dribble for goal to keep the perfect passing percentage. You can check the teams player ratings at the start menu during the game.
