How to unlock the So Now You're A Fighter achievement in UFC Undisputed 2010 - Definitive Guide

okay this achievement will come with time,i started playing at 1030 am and finished well five minutes ago at 1235 am the next day. i went undefeated in my career (51-0-0) and it took me to the year 2020. along the way i was able to get the hall of famer achievement and the pound for pound achievement and im sure you can to if u go undefeated in your career. but no matter what u cant unlock this achievement until you get a message from your trainer saying after this year you will retire and you fight your last fight and end the year

aute sparing or manual sparing to get points, get them to level 30,50,70 cuz then they cant go back down. your power, speed, and cardio is the same thing, you can get them to 30,50,70 and they will stay there. from there on you can add points and spar to what your fighter is. i was a boxer so i had my punching offense to 100 and didnt work on my submission and same thing with power cardio and speed. i trained my levels to as high as they could go

I just finished my last fight and NOTHING. I'm in the locker room, but I don't have a fight scheduled, and I don't see anything to do? ANOTHER glitch?

Ok, so I had to rest or train for the rest of the year in order for the achievement to pop. I'm surprised no one else ran into this or posted about it yet.

To make your guy Good: Manual Sparring with 70% or more Stamina, Take him Down, Stand Up, Rush to Stand over him (since there's no Ref to pull you off him) and alternate punching to his body and head. Keep your Stats at 70 and Keep Sparring. You'll reach a limit of 999, in which you won't be able to earn more unless you spend them.

If you can Manage, do a Focused Sparring (my guy was a Submission whiz). I was able to earn 20 Bonus Points forcing my Opponent to tap. Spend those, Then Spend the rest once your Career is done.

My guy's Career (Welterweight) ended at a career of 31-7. Didn't know it could go to 51.

I am just about done with career mode. My tips to complete this easily and as quickly as possible:

1. Play on Beginner
2. Make sure you make custom shorts, shirts and hats with the maximum amount of logos so you can earn max cred after each fight
3. Pick a discipline and stick with it. I suck at submissions and just wanted to KO everyone, which I did.
4. Auto Train. No need to waste time trying do it manually. You'll get all the skill points you need to beat the game on beginner by auto-training. Just make sure you aren't too fatigued (no more than 40% before you spar) or you won't get max skill points
5. When you train/spar make sure you pick just one or two aspects to focus on and get those up to the tiers before focusing on anything else. I made the mistake of trying to upgrade everything simultaneously and I would suffer decay of my skills because I couldn't find time to train, spar, rest and do dumb appearances.
6. If you play on Beginner you'll probably be nearly undefeated so you can skip extra appearances and any special events. You'll have plenty of cred if you just get the title and keep defending it. No attending the weigh-in, nothing like that. I always showed "respect" in my post fight interview as well. No need to worry about popularity, if you keep defending the title you'll be a superstar no problem.
7. This is your call, but I didn't really do any camp invites. They are somewhat time consuming. I did get my minimum level 3 skill with a single punch for the achievement but that's about it. If you're playing on beginner, you just won't need to worry about it.

Just adding that my career was 52 fights (all first round KOs) and ended with the end of the fiscal year 2021. Had to sim training until the end of December when a cutscene plays and your fighter is now coaching. Skip scene and achievement pops, credits roll.

Ok, I'll just add that when I finished my career (my last fight) I was back in the locker room and the achievement didn't pop. So I just trained until the achievement popped, so train after your last fight and then you will get your achievement, I thought it is a glitch at the start.

Credit doesn't go to me
