any combination of ranked and player matches will count for this achievement. obviously, if youre working on your 100 ranked wins achievement this will unlock at some point during your attempt. you can review the number of matches youve participated in by checking out your license by pressing the right bumper button and scrolling over. i think three (or four) pages. the license is available when you are in the xbox live page.

Straight Forward. Play 100 matches on Xbox Live (Player or Ranked) over time. Win or lose, still counts. If you need to boost, just go into a match and do nothing, let your opponent kill you.
