Straight forward achievement. Use 1,000 Hyper Combo Gauge Bars in Arcade Mode or any mode on Xbox Live (It combines both). You don't have to use Hyper Combos to get this, you can also use Snap Backs, and Crossover Assists, witch both have their respective achievements as well.

You will get this over time, there's absolutely no need to try to go out of your way and farm this one.

Your hyper combo gauge bars are the bars at the bottom of the screen that fill up to between ranks 1 and 5 as you take and dish out damage in this game. I'm still new at this game, so I mostly play in "Simple" mode which means that you perform Hyper attacks by pushing one button (default is B). Do this 1000 times (it can fill up 3-4 times per battle), and this achievement will pop.
