A Crossover Counter is performed by Pressing a direction towards the opponent, and hitting the assist button (LB or RB) while you're in your blocking animation. This takes one Hyper Combo bar every time it's performed. Very easy to do, and can be farmed at the same time as Advancing Guards and Blocks.

Crossover Counters, also known as 'alpha counters,' are performed by hitting forward and an assist button while you're blocking an opponent's attack. Do 50 of them and you'll get the achievement.

The TA Ratio on this one is a bit deceptive, as it's actually quite easy.
A Crossover Counter is performed when one if your partner jumps in and counters an attack against you. To perform this, you need to be blocking, and when your opponent strikes you, hit the left or right bumper to call in an ally to counter their blow. Do this 50 times, and you've got it. Easy peasy!
