As of Oct 9, possibly patched!

As of Aug 20 2020, appears to be bugged, gets stuck at 61% regardless of progress

Griswold is unlocked by finding the Dusty Book in the Halls of Din and putting it on a bookshelf located behind Arkanos the Archmage in the hub.

Eggs are rare drops and can be hatched between runs by giving Griswold thorium. Hatching eggs costs considerably more Thorium, 100+ and even 200+

Workaround for bug, from Nite Owl III: Hi friends if your tracker is stuck, the new save file works too just like the pilfer shop achievement. Just start a new file and get to the halls of din as quick as possible to unlock the egg guy. I was stuck at 40% and had almost all the familiars then started a new save file and got the rest in only a couple of hours.

Agh, such bullshit! My tracker is stuck at 61% after hatching 3 eggs (I would expect increments to go up an even 20% per egg... I did two more eggs, and it is still at 61. Anyone else having trouble? Should this be flagged as buggy?

yeah i have the same problem, i already have most of the pets but the achievement didn't pop, same thing happened to me with the pilfer's shop upgrades achievement

I've hatched all but 2 of the pets and I'm also stuck at 61%. Gonna hold off on hatching the last two.

I was about to hatch my 4th and only just noticed mine is stuck on 20%, guess i'll hold onto it for now.

Does anyone know if you can carry more than 1 egg or does it not drop anymore until you hatch the one you've got?

AgentZachMorgan- I collected 3 eggs before I hatched any, so I don’t think it will block you from collecting more while you wait for the bug to patch

AgentZachMorgan, they work exactly like blueprints or alchemy recipes. collecting them just makes them available to unlock via spending thorium at the hub, just a different vendor.

Update: I got mine after hatching 8 eggs! The update on 20/8 didn't pop the cheev for me, as it should as I had 6 eggs hatched at that time, but it may have unlocked the stuck tracker, so I could get it after doing two more eggs... whew! Buggy cheevs, no thanks!

Mine is stuck at 80%. I wonder if for some reason certain eggs don't count towards the achievement

There was an update a few days ago, i could complete it yesterday. I suggest hatch again, if the counter still stuck, close the game anf restart. It will not be saved.

I logged in and this patch has still done nothing for the people that have hatched all the eggs. I deleted my local saves and still nothing

Just an FYI, they seemed to have patched the bug for the familiars more recently. This wasn't increasing for me til today.
