How to unlock the Our House achievement in UNO - Definitive Guide

House rules are additional rules you can add to the game before the match begins. This can be boosted while playing against A.I. at the same time as you go for the “Just a Machine” achievement. Simply select “Solo Match” and turn ON Stacking, Jump-in (which can be unlocked via U-Play using Ubisoft points), and Force play. Other options are available but these will make the rounds go by faster. Then set the Score Limit to one round, and win five matches.

(Offline or Online)

This trophy is for winning 5 matches with at least 3 House Rules. House Rules basically changes the entire Match Settings. Below is an example of a setup you can use to unlock the trophy:

  1. Stacking => On
    • Stack Draw Twos and Wild Draw Fours to pass the penalty to the next player.
  2. 7-0 => On
    • Play a 7 to swap hands, play a 0 to pass hands around.
  3. Force Play => On
    • If you draw a card on your turn and it's playable, it's automatically played.
  4. No Bluffing => On
    • Wild Draw Fours may be played without being challenged.
  5. Draw-to-Match => Off
    • When you draw a card on your turn, you must draw until you get a playable card.
  6. Score Limit => One Round
    • Win the game by winning the first UNO Round


With the above settings you'll have a better chance at unlocking the trophy, and you only need to win 5 matches with these settings. Since its set to One Round, the moment you have no cards in your hand is a win.

It should be noted that you don't want to attempt this trophy with Draw-to-Match on because it's possible for the game to go on forever to the point where nobody will win the game.

It's also recommend that you attempt this trophy along with defeating 3 AI opponents 5 times, so you'll unlock Just a Machine at the same time. If you struggle with winning this way, you can always get help by boosting the House Rules wins online.

Additionally, the Jump-In is also another House Rule, but you need 20 Ubisoft Club Points in order to unlock this House Rule. It's not needed for UNO's 100% completion.
