For me, only the toaster worked on 2004.

The computer monitor works, and it's not even in a box. Takes 10 seconds.

I know this can be gotten earlier, but if, like me, you missed it, fear not. I placed the straighteners in the bathroom sink in June 2012. Et voila.

This can be done in pretty much any level with a Bathroom, but 2004 is the earliest. Simply take an electronic, like the toaster or radio and put it in the Tub/Shower.

Any chance you come across to put an electrical item in a bath tub will unlock this. I did it in 2004 by setting the toaster in the bath tub.

You can earn this in any Chapter outside of 1997. There are two ways you can get it, depending on which Chapter you're playing. In almost all of the Kitchens will be a Toaster (the actual graphic of the Toaster will vary from Chapter to Chapter). You need to take the Toaster to the Bathroom and place it in the bathtub:
 

Alternatively, a few Chapters will have a purple flat iron that you need to put away in the Bathroom. If you come across one of these, simply put it in the sink:
 

While you won't electrocute yourself, you will earn this trophy once you've done either setup.
