How to unlock the Gotta flush 'em all achievement in Unpacking - Definitive Guide

Click the toilet handle in each bathroom on the years 2004, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2015, and 2018.

There are none in 1997 or 2012.

There are two in the 2018 level. One for each bathroom.

*According to users, the toilet in 2013 and 2015 count as the same, so you can skip one or the other and still unlock this.

Thank you for this! Especially the bit about 2 toilets in 2018 - I was missing the one in the small bathroom :D

Can confirm Xanther's comment, you only need to flush 2015 OR 2013, not both.

was wondering my self why i cant flush 2007. then i checked misread the achievement, i flushed all toilet papers not the toilets...oO

I was able to get it by skipping over 2015. I had to go back through the album to get this achievement and I figured I'd give it a shot since it's technically the same toilet as 2013 and it still popped for me. Just a little bit of a time saver.

In case you're high like me, and don't realize this is an achievement until the last level, you can go to photo album after the game is over and pick the levels with toilets. Use the triggers to get right to the flushing, then press start and pick the next snapshot. Takes two minutes.

This works for any of the other level specific achievements as well.

You will need to start working on this trophy starting in Chapter 2004. There are eight toilets in the game that you need to flush. In each Chapter, there will be one toilet that you need to flush except for Chapter 2018 which will have two toilets. You don't have to wait for the audio to finish and can switch rooms as soon as you've flushed the toilet. Once you've flushed all eight, the trophy will unlock.

This is unlocked by interacting (cn_X) with every toilet in the game.

The toilets you need to interact with are:
Level 2 (2004)
Level 3 (2007)
Level 4 (2010)
Level 6 or 7 (2013 or 2015)
Level 8 (2018)
This level has 2 toilets you need to interact with - one in the main bathroom upstairs, and one in the small downstairs toilet.

If you finished the game and missed some, you can use chapter select, flush, and exit.

You won't be able to earn this achievement until you reach 2018. Either as you play the game or by using the album to visit past stages, find the bathroom (if there is one) and click on the toilet handle. There are two in 2018 that you will have to flush.

The water must be drained in all years, not just the last one.

You can restart the chapters and drain the water to go to the next one. Only the progress of decomposed items will be reset, not the plot progress
