This was beyond doubt one of my most difficult achievements for this game due to pure luck sometimes.
I would highly recommend playing with a friend or starting a session with someone permanent when going for this achievement as playing with randoms and no communication is not going to be a good time.
This took me a few tries with my younger brother and we used the save game feature when we could. But again like I said sometimes it comes down to luck and we got screwed over by bad procedurally map design.
If you really want to be cheeky you could look for a lobby online that is currently playing and scoop any of the distant achievements you require. I highly doubt a hard mode this high would be available though.
