Complete all of the bonus levels in under 45 minutes in one go

How to unlock the Hard and fast achievement in Unravel Two - Definitive Guide

You have to play all challenges in one go.
In which order doesn't matter so start from the top.
Or like me with challenge 13. This one is the one I had the most problems with.

Loading screens do count towards the 45 mins.

Playlist with all challenges in seperate videos can be found here:

I made videos for all the ones I couldn't find on YouTube, basically the ones you haven't done. Youre welcome to include them in your playlist or at least watch them to make your own vids. https://www.youtube.com/user/StreakMark

Surely they just mean doing it in 45 minutes in one sitting and not actually without dying... Right?!? Just the sliding on the brick one is so random sometimes...seems impossible to nail all 20 challenges without dying.

So as long as you don’t quit you can beat the challenges again and again to get a better and if the sum total of all is under 45 mins you should get the achievements? Is this correct?

No its not. I did that had under 25 minutes no achievement. You have to do it in one go.

I finally completed all the achievements last night, this one was the final and possibly the most difficult (also struggled with gold in Hideaway)
My advice is to start with the hardest levels first. Personally for me I started with "is that all there is" bonus levels cause it had 2 of the toughest. If I couldn't complete the first 4 levels in 8-9 minutes I'd start over.
This achievement comes with a lot of practice. Good luck everyone!

Thanks for sharing i thought you had to do them 1 to 20 so the order doesn't matter is good to know.

I tried 3 times and i think made it the last time i gonna give it a try this week again.

Finally got it lol.
You really need to be quick. I died a few times. But the longer challenges like 13 you better get the first try and should be fine.
The loadingscreens are a pain and I got the Xbox one S. Not sure if loadingscreen is longer on older Xbox.

I can confirm you don't have to start with 1 you can pick any order. So my advice if you struggle with 13 like me start with 13.

Does anyone know if quitting out of any challenge restarts the timer? If not what does restart the timer so if you mess up? Jump in a random level then back to the challenges?

Just got this trophy in my 3rd run. Way easier then Level 2 gold medal.
To confirm and answer my own question - you can pause the game by pushing the Xbox button. The timer will stop

I hate this game so much. Did every stage perfectly until the last 3 (18, 19 and 20). Had 11 minutes to do only those 3 and never had a problem with either of them. I died in all 3, 20+ time in 18 and 19. 50 min total. I really hate this game.

Around 40 minutes. Did Challenges 13 and 16 first and then 14, 15, 17-20, and working downwards. If you can get the hardest 8 challenges done before half of the time limit then there is a good chance to complete them all in 45 minutes.

The remaining two hardest ones were those requiring Yarny to jump around and swing around. The jump around one is kinda random, but try to bait the two shadows to follow Yarny from the same direction to avoid getting sandwiched. For the swinging around one, try to swing big U shapes from left to right and then right to left and this should keep Yarny safe fairly consistently.

I just unlocked the achievement woo. Now have the 100%.
For people going for this time starts when you go through the 1st bonus level portal, you can slowmo to your hearts content I died about 5 times as long as you do all levels in the 45mins your fine I had 58seconds to spare I used a timer on my phone. Good luck.

It would make the most sense to start from challenge 13, because the timer starts at the end of the level so you save time by doing the long level as the first one. Also I initially didn't unlock the achievement on my finished run, but I immediately started the run from the beginning and got the achievement after the 8th level of the 2nd run. So it is possible to race against the clock through the levels until you make it.

If you like you can combine all techniques with the wall-climb glitch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNY-KGmGJCE to shorten the times on the levels.
2, 12-15, and 17. I have on all of these levels a short best time. 2 under 2min, 12 under 2min, 13 under 3 min, 14 under 2min 15 under 1min and 17 under 1 min.

I don't have the achievement yet cause of the loading screens on xbox one s. Combined level times are around 30min. so you have 15 min of loading moving and fail times.

first try on series x

Ok. I just got it. I had a stopwatch app open on my phone. I jumped into the first challenge as i pressed start on my time. You have to do all 20 challenges in a row without taking a break. good news... I died several times and it still counted. Stopwatch was at 44:30 when i finished, so i'm not sure if load screens count or not. I assumed it was real time and just left the stopwatch running. In theory, you might be able to pause the game and have it pause the clock. I wasn't able to test this.

I didn't use the Xbox button. I only did practice and practice only the challenges hardest. In my opinion the hardest levels were lvl 16 and lvl 18. I used the slow cam in these levels and I got my achievement with a time of 42:00 min. I used a phone with cronometer, a towel for my sweaty hands and somes videos with puzzles that I forgot. Good Luck, You can do it!

Phew! What an achievement. I finished my run at approx. 38 minutes. The order I chose to go at the bonus levels were as follows: 20, 9, 8, 7, 3, 2, 4, 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 18, 19, 17, 14, 13, 15/16.

I chose this order, because during my prep. I deemed 20, 9, 8, 7, and 3 as the hardest bonus levels! These are tricky and there are no tricks around completing these levels properly.

CONFIRMED: You CAN use the wall jump glitch to fully cheat 3x Bonus Levels; those levels are 15, 16, and 17.

HELPFUL TIP: You can also use the wall jump glitch to "partially" cheat on:
BL-11 kinetic potential; wall jump the nightstand on the left, DO NOT waste time with those shelves to grab the pot.
BL-12 O superman; after smashing the brick through the window. Simply wall jump the right wall, thru the window. Don't try to waste time also launching yourself.

Here is the walk-through video I found most helpful in explaining the "wall jump glitch".
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CgEZXU6mcVI&list=LL&in...
Thankyou. Ripwsb for this video.

P.S. the BL>Bonus Level I had the most difficulty with during my run was number 6; you keep me hanging. As this is one of the "Fixed" maps I called them where you are forced to swing/jump within a limited space until the opening is clear.

PREP TIP: If you complete the BL you wish to start at for your run, whence you open your game. Beat that specific bonus level, and it will auto save you at that location. Close the game. Reset. And begin your run under the BL you plan to start at.

Goodluck Unraveling!

For anyone attempting to do this, I'd recommend NOT listening to HealerBoy lmao considering jumping back and forth like that between levels is just a huge waste of time, and is more annoying to keep track of. Just unnecessary.

Just practice the ones that are difficult for you, then just start from the top and work your way down, or vice versa. 20-1 or 1-20 in order. No need to complicate it more than it needs to be.

In my opinion, none of them were even difficult, besides maybe #16 (Tilted), but even that is simple once you know what to do, and by that point you should be good enough at the game, if you leave this achievement till last.

I started from 20 and did it in 33:40 with tons of silly mistakes.

Wow, this achievement is a long and somewhat stressful endurance run. However, after practicing each level for a few days, I missed my first run at 47:00 minutes and then got 38:30 my second time through. I made about 10 mistakes and probably 9 deaths. I have a Xbox One S. I started my own timer when I entered the first portal but I honestly don't know when it starts the official timer. I used the wall jump glitch wherever possible. Really cuts time off of a few levels like 10, 15, and 17.

All levels require practice, but the ones I truly recommend practicing are listed below with a P. I found the later levels harder overall, so I would recommend starting from 3rd Floor Right (13P, 16P, 15, 14) and progressing to 3rd Floor Left (20P, 19, 18P, 17), 2nd Floor Left (8P, 7, 6P, 5), 2nd Floor Right (12, 11P, 9P, 10), and Basement (1, 2P, 3P, 4).

As people have noted above, Levels 16, 18, and 13 are the hardest and require a ton of practice. However, I also came to despise Level 2 (added 7 minutes to my first run and failed achievement, I couldn't get the end slide timing right with the 4 black smokes. In the end, I just jumped straight down the middle), Level 9 because you can't see the black smoke at the very end, Level 11 because the bucket physics are finicky, and Level 20 (because I swear sometimes you hit the black smoke out of nowhere and other times you pass through it.

With enough practice you'll get it. If you miss the achievement, I would HIGHLY recommend walking away and doing something else for a few hours before returning, lest you throw the controller through the TV :) Good luck!

This achievement requires that you complete all 20 bonus levels in a single session and in under 45 minutes. The timer will start when you enter the portal for the first bonus level and ends when you complete the 20th bonus level.

You can play through the levels in any order but I found it best to start at the top of the lighthouse and work your way down as levels 16 and 13 were the most difficult in my opinion.

The 45 minute requirement is pretty lenient. 40 minutes is definitely possible and 35 minutes might be possible. You can die a lot and make a lot of mistakes and still get this done in 45 minutes.

I suggest playing through all of the levels several times to learn the specifics and particulars. Here is a playlist with individual videos showing what I felt were efficient routes through each of the levels.

And here is my successful run which is likely unhelpful as it was pretty sloppy:
This was honestly my first attempt at a real run after having figured out and practiced the levels individually over a few days. It's sort of a mess as I forgot some of the puzzle specifics on a few levels and lost a lot of time while floundering to remember how to get through. I also died a bunch although I did pretty well on what I feel are the hardest levels.

Just practice on every bonus level and when ready start your adventure, when u want to restart close the game and relaunch it. U have time to make a lot of mistakes and no matter in wich sequence u complete the Bonus level. In my video i started from bonus level 5 cause when i relaunched the game i found myself outside that level and the hardest challenge for me was level 16, i wasted around 5 min in the video on that challenge but got the achievement anyway.

For those who like me didn't find all answers to essential questions:
1) absolutely all time count once you start: this includes play time, death, and all loading times...cry
2) quit a level doesn't not restart the countdown (I did it once)
3) re-enter a level already done doesn't affect the trophy, and doesn't reset the countdown (I did it once)
3) you can die (as many times you want roll) this doesn't affect the trophy (I died several times)
4) I strongly guess countdown is set (or reset) when you start from the main menu's game (where you can choose your save slot); I re-start from there a couple of time when i was not satisfied with my start, each new start with a countdown running on my phone and I get the trophy.
5) Trophy unlock after the last loading time of the last achieved level to return to the hub.
6) Order of the levels doesn't matter: I made it from 20 to 1, without any respect of any order.
7) You can use (and abuse) slow motion, this doesn't affect the trophy (I use it on level 16 & 20), however it takes slightly more time to achieve levels smile
8) I would recommend to do all levels of a section before trying another section, as travel between each section takes time, and coutdown is always running... So choose to start with the section with the most struggling level for you...
Hope this helps someone, one day...

This is the make or break trophy for this game. You have to complete all 20 bonus levels in less than 45 minutes. Keep in mind that the time spent in the lighthouse and the loading screen is also counting towards the 45 minutes! To clarify, you are allowed to die or restart levels as often if you want to. I think the order of the bonus levels should not matter but this might need confirmation.

See below for a video guide.  Credit for the video goes to LucasDiasC.

All levels have to be completed in one successful chain. If you’ve made a real doozy of a level you can back out to the main screen and re-load your save file. You’ll have to complete all 20 levels again.

I personally completed “motion sickness” first it’s a long level if you mess up at the end then you can re-boot your save file. “Tilted” is a hard level also within the same bonus area and is good to get out of the way. I then moved up to the ashes to ashes bonus area as they are quite hard. Once done work your way down the lighthouse.

*memorise your logic puzzles 🧩 talk out loud to help remember the steps.
*learn to repeat your strategies in the Skill 🎯games.

There is some leniency so don’t quit so easy because you didn’t nail it first attempt. The Kinect balance level took me 5 minutes and I thought I was done for but I came through. The achievement will pop on the lighthouse loading screen after you’ve saved all the yarns if you have been quick enough.

Video tips can only tell you what to do correctly in a particular level. In any case, before you go for this trophy, go through all the tests yourself and choose the best, easiest option for you. I did many tests differently than in the video. Only a few levels really require you to polish your actions, you will understand which ones yourself. In difficult and decisive moments, do not be lazy to turn on slow motion (time slowdown). For my part, I went in order from 1 to 20. I spent about 5 hours getting the trophy. With a stopwatch it took 38 minutes from start to finish. The last level was surprisingly completed on the first try.

Not a significant lifehack in this trophy. Even when loading a level, I always pressed the stick forward, and everywhere I hit different surfaces and hooks much more successfully than what happened at the start when the picture appeared. For those who don't understand, I mean the unfolding of events. This helped me in many levels, especially in the last one to get through the first section with enemies and two hooks without any failures. Listen.

I agree with all of the above, but for my part I will add that you can take the tests in any order convenient for you. Personally, I started with “fire” tests (at the factory), because... They were the most difficult for me, and then in descending order of difficulty.

Pausing in the Lighthouse and levels stops the timer. If you need to refer to the video or need a break, then a pause will not spoil the trophy (checked personally).

Additionally, I’ll tell you what helped me get through. Finished in 36:30 with quite a few mistakes.
I started on the roof of the lighthouse at level 20, and constantly reloaded until I passed it the first time. Further in the same room I passed a burning house. And then the rest. I was going downward, that is, from 20 to 1, BUT! Each room is divided in half, 1-2 levels where skill is required and 2-3 levels where logic or character interaction is required. Therefore, in each room I did it first where the skill was needed, because... This is where you can make the most mistakes, and then logic/interaction because... You can watch this and calmly follow the guide. But it’s true what they say above, that first you need to try each level yourself, because... No one will send you skillful hands from a video. In general, it took me about 5 hours and the last time I went on easy and at level 13 I only spent 20 minutes. There I already relaxed and made mistakes to the fullest.

Set the timer by clicking the Continue button on the game save selection screen. Those. The loading screen is already considered a game session. (Running from portal to portal, loading levels, screensavers, everything counts, by the way, because of this, purely in theory, if you play on an SSD you will have more time)

The little men appear after loading the beacon near the last used portal. Therefore, before restarting the race, enter and exit from the level you want to start from.

To restart, you need to exit the lighthouse to the main menu of the game, then select a company and click continue game.

YOU CAN die and use time dilation at all levels you want. Condition: after loading from the menu, you have 45 minutes to complete all 20 levels, no matter how or in what order.

How to pass the levels, I can only advise you to look at different options for passing on YouTube, and run through the levels yourself and look for the optimal passage for yourself, everything is purely individual.

Video guide with more hardcore and faster from 20 to 1.
