Mosquitoes are automatically swatted if you use your lasso () when they surround you and there are no lasso points nearby.

The trick to this is SPEED through the level. If you do get surrounded, run back and forward to lose them before using your lasso. Use to tie when necessary instead of using the lasso. As long as you finish the level having a loose lasso hit the group of mosquitoes, the achievement will unlock.

The Achievement is located in the third chapter called "Berry mire"

The first Mosquitoes are after the second collectibles and there will start the achievement. The key to success is control the Mosquitoes. You can go back and forward to bring the Mosquitoes where you want. The most important part is, if you are surrounded by Mosquitoes DONT USE RT or the achievement is gone.

Try to use many as possible and instead . At some points there is no other option, you have to use , make sure you are not surrounded! If you are surrounded, go back and try again. Of course speed is useful but control your situation is for me the key to success.

What makes this tricky is that swatting and grabbing share the same button (). Before using your lasso, look for a white light on the grapple point. This signals that you will use your lasso instead of swatting.
If the mosquitoes swarm you, jump around to clear them for a few seconds.
Once you're past all of the mosquitoes, just finish the level, and the achievement will pop.

In addition to the other guides on here I'd just like to add that you can die during the level and continue and the achievement will still unlock as long as you don't attack any of the mosquitos

I'd like to add to the above guides a trick that I found out that I don't see mentioned and helped me get through this on my first try.

Of course, use X, X/LT and B as often as you can but where you have to use RT, all you need to do is jump before you do it. When you jump you cannot swat the mosquitos so even if you are surrounded you'll be fine. I made sure the hook I was trying to lasso had the white light on it first by jumping a few times, by doing so you'll see it show up when in the air and go away when you land and are surrounded again. If you see that you're golden, just jump and lasso.

A few other areas you need to run jump and can't do that surrounded so just jump left and right until you speed up and then make the run.

I'll also add this didn't pop for me until after my guy put the badge on the photo album.
