There is an easier way to do this achievement.

I played a multiplayer match with full private slots and I used my second controller signed in as an xbox live guest and he was the second player, bots were desactivated so the only two players were my two controllers.

The map I used is Downtown. Take all the bases with the profile going for the achievement. Then, when you have all the bases and the nucleus can be damaged, go to enemy base with controller one and change to controller 2 take the orb with controller 2, kill controller 2 with controller 1 and destroy the orb with the first controller.

You will now spawn in the nearest base. This base is very close to the enemy`s nucleus. Here comes an important part. Before going again to repeat the process, go to the stairs in the base and TAKE A VIAL to increase your health by 5, leaving your health at 105. This is very, very important because this will allow you to destroy 2 orbs instead of one before you die. Destroying an orb will make you 100 damage, so when you destroy the first orb you still have 5 hitpoints left for you to destroy another orb before dying. Its like this: respawn, take a health vial, go to base, take the orb with second controller, kill 2nd player, destroy orb, take orb with 2nd controller, kill 2nd player, destroy orb. Then is time for respawn and repeat this sequence again.
It took me about 40 minutes using this method to destroy all the 100 orbs.

I know this game is well old but I got this last night very very quickly!

The easiest map to use is Market District.

Use only 1 bot with novice AI.

Once you have secured the primary node you can hover around it and await the symbol at the top to show the Bot has the orb then simply rush forward to kill him, wipe out the orb and then repeat.

The AI bot will grab the node 3 times out of 4 due to his spawn location so by hovering at the node you can kill him if he flanks to it or spawns in front and starts to shoot.

I was easily picking up 2-3 orbs a minute maybe more so with all the orbs I'd returned previous this popped up in about 20 minutes.

the best map to do this in is marketplace i believe, its a small map and a very easy hoverboard ride to the enemy base. just make a no time limit game and and score to higher than 3 in case the bots score and just keel returning the orbs. note: this achievement will take longer than it seems. so be a little patient.

i did this on market district with a friend. set the game to no time limit and enable speed freak. each player takes control of each node til the meet at the top of the map then find a spot to meet at between the 2 primary nodes you each control. then simply run the orb to that spot and push down on the d pad to fall and lose the orb. your friend kills their self on it and they drop the one they are carrying. then you kill yourself on the one they just dropped. respawn, pick up your orbs meet at the same spot rinse and repeat
