Unfortunately, the ranked mode is dead online. So you'll probably have to boost this with a friend. I have yet to find a single ranked match.

It took me quite a while to find a ranked match, and the connection would often fail during the match. My suggestion is to host the ranked match. Use "duel" and set the goal to 0 (first person to get a kill wins). The match will be finished in a minute or two so your connection probably won't drop in the middle.
