How to unlock the Fear the Reaper achievement in Unreal Tournament III - Definitive Guide

Chapter 5 consists of 8 missions no matter what, and the choice you make in the middle only matters for what the kill limit is on the Sanctuary map. Simply play through all the levels, then once you get to the Sentinel level that is a 1v1 against Akasha, return to the main menu then continue the campaign on Insane. *Note* It is also recommended to make a backup save before you complete this level, so that you can easily replay it in splitscreen for the co op trophy instead of replaying the whole chapter.

This is without a doubt the hardest level in the game, if you try to play it legit. As long as you are able to get up at least one kill at the start of the match there is an easy trick you can use to cheat the match though, which is what the USB keyboard is required for. This game doesn't let you crouch with the controller controls, but due to the fact that you can play the game with a keyboard you can use that and actually crouch on your own. This is required to be able to cheat the fight against Akasha. Once the match starts you need to try your hardest to get at least a 1 kill lead on Akasha as soon as possible, so that when the match timer runs out you win due to having a higher score. If you take too long to get a kill she will grab health vials and armor and become much more difficult to kill. Once you have your lead, you are going to need to get over to the area by the shield belt spawn as fast as possible.

Between the two pillars behind it is a wall of sorts, that is higher on the right side. What you need to do it get behind this wall by running around it, then stand behind the tallest part. Now on your keyboard you need to hold the “C” key to crouch and then stare at the ground. This effectively hides you behind this wall and, unless you are close enough to the outside edge where she can see you from down the stairs, renders Akasha completely broken so that she cannot attack you. If done properly, she should occasionally shoot at the wall, but won’t actually come close to you or look around to actually damage you, because the AI doesn't know to do that. Once you are in position, you need to hold the “C” key for the next 20 minutes until the match timer runs out, giving you an easy win against the hardest enemy in the game.
