Not a guide but more of a warning, I unlocked the ammu trueform active soul last and the achievement hasn't seemed to unlock, I'd maybe unlock a diffrent boss active soul last incase it bugs out
Update: if this happens to you just kill another boss and absorb their active soul, saved me another playthrough thankfully, will keep this up incase it helps

Is the desert wind guy supposed to give you an active soul?
The secret bosses themselves give you a Passive Soul upon beating them, they’re each guarding an Active Soul that you can grab after defeating them. For Kamas that’s just interacting with the grave behind the locked door in his arena to get it to show up and then holding 
to absorb it.
