Untitled Goose Game

This area is quite possibly the most difficult area, simply because of the two AI townsfolk you have to deal with. You can access the Back Gardens area from the High Street by making a left and then a right on the path and entering the man's backyard through a break in the fence. Once in, you will receive your six tasks:

• Make someone break the fancy vase
• Help the woman dress up the bust
• Make the man spit out his tea
• Get dressed up with a ribbon
• Make the man go barefoot
• Do the washing (with: a bra, a pair of socks, a slipper, a bar of soap)

There is a bit of trading of items you will need to do between the two backyards. You will need to steal the glasses, pipe and hat from the man's table and transfer them to the woman's birdbath. She will use the three items to dress up the birdbath bust. You can access the woman's backyard by untying the yellow tie holding the fence together. Once ready to head back to the man's backyard go to the top right and pull out the desk drawer to make the furniture topple and provide you a one way ramp.

You will next need to steal the woman's socks (both) and bra from the clothesline and the soap from the bathtub flower pot to use later in the man's backyard. You should also steal the vase the woman is modelling for her painting and bring it over to the man. Whenever the man picks up something that doesn’t belong to him, he throws it over the fence. Make sure he only sees the vase.

While in the woman's backyard, wait for the man to drink his tea and ring the large bell behind him to make him spit it out.

Grab the ribbon off the goose statue, wait until the woman isn’t looking, stash the goose behind the flower pots in the bottom left of her area and take the place of the statue. The woman should pick up the ribbon and put it on you. It is difficult to keep the ribbon on when going through broken fences and fighting with townsfolk but if you can keep the ribbon on and make it inside the next area, The Pub, you could get attempt the Elegant trophy in your first run.

Head back to the man's backyard. When he reads the paper, he lifts his left foot. When he drinks his tea, he lifts his right foot. Steal both his slippers, one at a time without being spotted for the best result.

Take one of the stolen slippers and throw it in the pool in the back of the man’s yard. Add to it the two socks, bra and soap from the woman’s yard and you should finally be able to move on to the final task. The man will move the sign away from the single rose in the flower box next to the entrance to the woman’s back yard. Your new task will be revealed:

• Make someone prune the prize rose

Pull the handle on the flower box to move the rose down closest to the fence opening. Go into the woman’s yard and nip at the squirrel topiary to influence the woman to trim it. She will trim the bush as well as clip the prize flower. This will complete the area, get you the trophy and prompt the woman to remove a sign along her left fence which opens a passage to the next area, The Pub.
