Solving the mystery of the house involves completing the first three Vaccine runs while completing all the puzzles along the way. At the start of each of the three runs, hit the clock with the knife to initiate the puzzle runs.

Each Vaccine run has 1 puzzle box randomly placed somewhere in the house. It’s a small gray box with a green light beam emitting from it. To solve the puzzles, you need to place all the circle buttons next to each other. If there are any Red buttons (either a – or +), you cannot place any circles next to it.

The first run you need to save your partner in 30 minutes or less, the second run in 20 minutes or less, and the third run in 10 minutes or less. For the third run, it is recommended you find the lab and Vaccine with at least 4-5 minutes left on the clock. The reason is listed just below.

At the end of the third run when you find the lab, kill the final boss and pickup the Vaccine. Before you leave the lab, you will notice a green light emitting from one of the walls. There will be a small room here. Go inside and you will see another clock. You need to hit the clock with the knife and very quickly run back to your partner with the Vaccine. The countdown clock will speed up tremendously as soon as you hit the clock, so you need to Sprint as fast as you can. Due to this, it is highly recommended you use the “Open Door” method outlined in the Roadmap for navigating.

When you get back to the starting room, a ghost of the final boss will be standing by the bed. Ignore him and run up to the bed to give your partner the Vaccine, ending the third run and earning you the trophy.
