Use Queen sigma as she has a high amount of banishes making this much easier . Suggest picking one or two weapons (king bible/ Santa water) to make sure you aren’t too vulnerable.

To piggy back on this, you could also make it easier on yourself by making sure you don't have any weapons sealed out in the Collection Menu. Then just banish all the weapons you won't use. As long as you don't pick up more than 5 they will continue to drop into your pool.

Worked perfectly. Queen Sigma, Garlic, King Bible, and kept banishing everything else. I leveled the Garlic and Bible to keep ahead of the increasing enemies, but otherwise, just kept banishing. Got to 30 minutes and quit.

Use Queen Sigma w/ XXI Blood Astronomia on Il Molise. Banish literally everything. Accessories seem to count towards it as well. Takes less than 10 mins.

Actually, seals count. I sealed 8 items in the collection and used the arcana, which gives +3 on Banish. Together with my 10 regular Banishes I banished 13 items during a game and the achievement unlocked.

Note that you can do this prior to unlocking Queen Sigma by purchasing 10 banishes from the merchant in inverse mode

Am I right in thinking you can't get queen Sigma before unlocking this achievement with out using he cheat code?

This isn't part of the Collection 1.0 so you can get Sigma without using a code.

I did it on abyss with Sigma, used the Arcanas Mad groove (on the left in the middle row) that attracts everything to you at the start. Grab the crowns and the attractorbs to really speed things up. Took 3 minutes.

Level: Bat Country. ( Bats are easy )
Character: Queen Sigma. ( has 100 rerolls, banishes etc)

Use aracanas.
Aim for the one that creates " damaging zones"

Stay near the jester guy you can buy weapons from to be safe so when you get a few off you can just buy 3 of the weapons off him to get some extra banishes to be safe.

Take king bible and garlic and level up a few times, upgrade the garlic a few times to be safe then just idle kill all enemies and keep banishing weapons or re roll until a weapon appears, literally took me max of 10 minutes!

Might be worth noting, if you've unlocked seal, allowing you to deselect weapons or items, you can pick up to 10 to banish indefinitely. These count towards the total for the achievement, so selecting all 10 means you only need ten in your run to unlock this.

TL;DR: The easiest way is to use Queen Sigma or Megalo Menya Moonspell, who both give huge Banish-Boosts. For more ways to increase the number of weapons you can banish in a single run, read below.

Character bonus
Some characters have a passive bonus to the Banish stat. These are:
- Queen Sigma (+108 Banish)
- Megalo Menya Moonspell (Legacy of the Moonspell DLC) (+108 Banish)
- Menya Moonspell (+8 Banish)
- Divano Thelma (+6 Banish)

Banish Power Up
Leveling up the Banish stat directly gives +2 Banish per Rank. Up to +10 Banish can be gained this way.

Arcana
The Arcana Silent Old Sanctuary (XX) provides +3 Banish.

Golden Eggs
Golden Eggs have a chance to permanently increase Banish by 0.2 for the character that collects it.

Seal I
Sealing weapons in the Collection menu counts towards the number of banished weapons in the run. Up to 10 weapons can be sealed with Seal I.

As the description says, you need to use the Banish ability 20 times in a single run. Note that it doesn't need to be used strictly on weapons, as items (such as Armor, Hollow Heart, etc.) also count toward the 20 needed.

This is quite easy to do with Sigma since she starts with over 100 Banishes. You should probably level up your starting weapon a couple times or grab a couple more weapons first, just to be safe, but then just Banish something every time you level up. The only way to see how many Banishes you've used is to check how many you start with (for me, it's 118) and then subtract off 20. Once you use 20, you can just quit the run to unlock this achievement.
