How to unlock the Gav'Et-Oni achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide

Located on Mt. Moonspell near the bottom of the map. Head to the bottom and go towards the Gold Ring in front of a small shrine. There will be many of these enemies in the area coming from the south. Remain in this area and use someone powerful like Queen Sigma to farm them until you believe you’ve hit 6,000.

I’ll try to update with a picture later but a brief description of what they look like - they’re the ones with brown bodies and green legs/arms. Possible Ninja Turtle rejects idk lol

They can also be found in the far Northwest if you follow the trail up the mountain. You’ll find a frozen lake that spawns hundreds of Kappa

I camped at the bottom near the golden ring until I had 120,000 kills and quit only to find that I solely killed 1,500 kappas…

forget the southern shore. if you go there you barely get any kappa and soon you will be running from all the advanced enemies. instead go towards the northern cave (where the silver ring is if you have it unlocked DO NOT GO INTO CAVE) to the left of it is a frozen pond and you get a ton of kappa and when the large wave of enemies triggers they will be kappa instead of those annoying flower looking enemies.

I agree the frozen pond on the top left of the map is much better, in the center of the pond after you kill the skeleton boss the only thing that will spawn is kappa, I used Queen Sigma and used curse items to increase enemy amount, I got 11k killed kappa on a 12k total kills run in like 20 minutes

Frozen lake to the northeast is the best spot

Just for the record, the frozen lake is in the Northwest, not Northeast. I think to get there you have to go West from the centre of the map and then North up the winding mountain path.

I used Ms Sigma, super evolved with king bible and clock lancet. And a ton of other stuff lol

Wander around for a while, level up, then head Northwest to the lake

The giant skeleton baby there is the boss. Then do the TMNT turtle guys.

I waited until I had killed 80K vampires, just to make sure that 6K turtles were dealt with.

Who's the best character to use for this? I use domerio and max out the king bible with the evo but I've only gotten 4k kappa. I've only made it once to the northwest corner. Gotten killed before I can get there again so I'm just wondering if anyone is better

Also which is easier to get to, northwest corner or the south part of the map? I keep dying before I get to the northwest corner (gotten there twice before I died).

Be aware mine glitched on me for some reason. All I know is after 1 game I checked my bestiary and had like 5,972…I was like sweet, I went to do another game and kill some more… quit and no achievement… checked the bestiary again and there it said I had only killed 147 Kappa… roll

There are two places on the map Kappa's spawn. One is by the ice lake on the upper left part of the map or the best spot in my opinion the direct bottom of the map by the green lake. Upping your curse and going for 100k kills in one run should net you this achievement easily.

Here's the top left location:

Here's the direct bottom location:

Killing 100 000 enemies just takes too long. I took a character I needed lvl 80 with and camped at the lake. At lvl 80, 25 thousands kills, I quit and got the achievements. You can get 100000 kills in less than 30 minutes in the Bat Zone level.

Heck yeah! Bone zone definitely is where it's at for 100k kills. Or infinite levels. Those are good too lol

EDIT:
Left-top at the silver ring they also spawn. I think in a better quantity since they spawn from all sides instead of only from the bottom. Try to max out your character abit before going there and farm. From like 15 minutes the map gets pretty hard but at the left top, those enemies don't spawn. So my guide would be as followed.

Grab a strong, fast character like Queen Sigma.
Grab the items from the bottom and reroll for weapons/ passives you want, but dont pick the items that are in the map.
Items on the map:
Duplicator
Chandalabore
Silver ring (cant be gotten during level up)
Gold ring (cant be gotten during level up) - Get it, increased enemy frequency
Left shroud (cant be gotten during level up)
Right shroud (cant be gotten during level up) - Get it, increased enemy frequency
Stone mask (optional, maybe for a evolve)
Spinach (can be used for evolve but increases damage output. So i would say get it.)
Pummoria (heart item, optional. Can be used for a few evolves)

Wicked Season arcana is nice. Rest is pretty optional

Kappa are a new enemy in the new map only. They spawn only in two known locations: directly south by the Gold Ring on the map, and in the northwest corner of the map where a frozen lake is. From my experience, they spawn very slowly in the south, so definitely go to the northwest corner. To get there, from the spawn, head up and then take the left path, eventually going up, through a cave, out the left of it and left through a very narrow path, and that eventually opens up into the frozen lake area. There will be a giant skeleton enemy in the middle, but if you stay on the lake Kappa enemies will spawn nonstop around you the entire time. They unfortunately don't swarm in huge numbers, so if possible, I recommend getting some curse to speed up the process.

You unfortunately can't tell during the run whether you've killed enough, but make a note of your kill count when you get to the lake and then kill an additional 10,000 enemies or so. That should be plenty to reach 6000 Kappa and unlock this achievement.
