How to unlock the Glass Vizard achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide

The Glass Vizard is an NPC that is found directly above you once you enter Moongalo. In order to buy him (meaning that he will appear in all stages) you will need 10,000 gold.

To unlock Moongalo you must unlock Hyper Mode for 4 normal stages (This is done by surviving for 30 minutes).

Bought this and have the merchant available on all levels, but achievement didn't pop. Tried hard-quitting the game and loading back up, but no dice. Any recommendations?

@MechaHeretic - If it shows unlocked online, but not on console you can remove your profile and add it back on and it should sync. (I’ve done that with different achievements when I was waiting on 3 to sync.)

Not sure if this has changed since the solution was written.
Hyper mode now unlocks after 25 mins and beating the level boss.

This "relic" is located in Moongolow, the second bonus stage. Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for unlocking bonus stages.

Before you can get this relic, you'll need 8000 coins. You don't need to earn that much in a run, you just need that much available between runs. Once you have that much, start up Moongolow with any character, and you'll start right next to the Glass Vizard, who is the merchant. Touch him and then choose the top right option to allow him to show up in any stage, which costs 8000 coins. This unlocks this relic and this achievement.
