How to unlock the Great Gospel achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide

If you're having trouble getting this item to drop from the boss on Cappella Magna try using the code "icanhearthecriesofcaptainplanet" to unlock it from the secret menu. Load into any level, and quit out it should unlock the achievement :)

I beat the level didnt get the drop and put in the cheat code. One of the few cheatcodes ive actually earned.

You will need to get past 30 minutes in stage 5, Cappella Magna, and then the background will change.

Shortly afterwards you will then need to fight and beat the boss that appears and pick up the book.

The Gospel won't appear after beating the boss at 25 minutes, which confused me (hence this guide).

I've had a lot of trouble with this achievement. Have killed the boss twice on Hyper mode and it doesn't drop. The game also bugged and wasn't unlocking other achievements. To be clear, in-game achievements weren't popping, so it's not an Xbox issue. I did unlock some achievements I was supposed to (including killing the final boss), but not all of them.

Once I regain some patience I'll try again on normal mode with different weapons and report back.

guys, i defeated the boss as when the background changed;

and i didn't get anything, what about the "Game Killer
Defeat the final enemy in the Cappella Magna after unlocking the Randomazzo." achievement i got, but was after i quit because there was no item close where i defeated the boss.

So just saying there is two achievements if i could complete the stage getting the Great Gospel

I do not understand. I survived until minute 30. The background changed. A boss appeared, which I defeated. And then nothing happened. Clock was at 53 minutes after I waited a long time for things to happen. I had to quit, which unlocked other achievements but not this one. I never collected any golden book.

EDIT: It worked after beating the boss the second time.

Hey! I found a solution, use the code icanhearthecriesofcaptainplanet on the secrets menu and load into a level and quit. That unlocked it for me and I was having the same issue with the gospel not spawning.

Can be found after surviving stage 5 and kill the boss.

the boss is a matter of dodging and dealing damage.
