How to unlock the Mortaccio achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide
Skeletons can be found in multiple levels throughout the game, including the first stage Mad Forest
Once you've killed one it'll be added to your Bestiary access from the main screen and you can see you body count.
They'll be sparse at first, but as you climb up in minutes, you'll have the whole screen swarming with them.
YMMV on how long it'll take to kill 3k, I had it unlocked within my first couple hours of playing. I believe during my first clearing run of Mad Forest.
Standard killing tactics apply, they go down fairly easy. You just need to have a decent setup to keep the horde at bay.

Where on earth do I find the Bestiary screen?? On my main menu I only have:
- Options (at the very top of screen)
- Start (top middle of screen)
- Power Up (green button middle of screen)
- Collection (to left of power up)
- Unlocks (to right of power up)
- Credits (below power up)

Linear Progression, will eventually unlock through normal game play

This is cumulative across all runs. Skeletons show up in most levels of the game, and you'll see them as early as the first stage. Once you start being able to survive beyond 10-15 minutes, you'll see significantly more skeletons, and eventually the entire screen will be full of them at one point during the first stage. By the time you're surviving to 20 minutes in the first stage, you'll easily kill 3000 skeletons, possibly in a single run.
