Torrona's Box is unlocked by evolving 6 weapons at once in a run.

(With the Tides of Foscari dlc, Torrona's Box is a level item in Abyss Foscari - If you go here, just put on the Arcana Mad Groove that summons all items to you when you start, then level it up as usual.)

This item is cursed. It is incredibly useful for the first 8 levels, but at level 9 it adds 100% curse. Try to make this last level the final upgrade of your equipped items to avoid being overrun.

If you haven't unlocked

The Lama achievement in Vampire Survivors worth 7 pointsSurvive 20 minutes with at least +10% Curse.

it will unlock after the 20 minute mark as well with this item maxed out, regardless of if you had the curse a full 20 minutes.

Is this bugged for anyone else? I've gotten level 9 on the box twice and nothing. I'm in a run now and it actually doesn't state the 100% curse affect in the level screen when it's due to be leveled to 9, but if I select it the 100% curse takes affect.

Bugged for me too. Levelled it to 9 and the Achievement didn't pop.

Some people have said that some achievements didn't pop until they relaunched the game so maybe try restarting system and booting the game up. No official glitches that I know of ATM

So this still works (kinda) for the PC version. I did a run on PC, got level 9 with Torrona's Box, I unlocked omni in game but no achievement.
Booted up my Xbox and got the achivement at the title screen.

Got to level 9 like 3-4 times, was trying to change conditions somewhat, still not unlocking.

I love the game... When it works.
Given I play on xbox one s, but the game look like something from 1983 so it should run, I got slideshows, freezes, drops to main page fine!!!
But that freaking achievement doesnt work.
Did it like 10 times, reinstaled the game it simply doesnt work (when game dropped me out after opening the coffin in the tower - coffin was not available but the achievement poped after another game - that one is bugged)

I couldn't get it to unlock on my Xbox Series X after a couple tries. I installed it on my PC and was able to unlock it first try. I hope this helps out anyone who has both systems.

Just to confirm that this wasn't unlocking on my Series X either after numerous runs, but it just unlocked first time on the PC version. I know not everybody is able to unlock it this way but for those that can, it's a sure fire way to get it whilst a patch gets sorted for the Series X version.

Ok I was wondering why it didn't unlock. Funny it's not just that the achievement doesn't unlock it's the game doesn't actually recognise that you have done it. You don't get the award after the level.

Is it cross progress between console and PC? I can’t get it on console and don’t have a PC but could theoretically use a friends but wouldn’t want to do it if I have to start from scratch

Unlocked this immediately on xbox first try. There was an update before I played, so I think it's been fixed

Update: after a year, I finally got the achievement. I stopped playing the game for a while. But now trying to find the box and get level 9.

I updated the guide with the newest dlc making it a 100% available stage item. This should make it easier for those of you who seem to be unable to get it normally. It spawns after unlocking in your normal item choice list, it is just rare and there are a lot of items.

Hi! I need help with this. I got the Torrona's Box achievement but the item is still locked (?) in game. I went through the process of having 6 evolved weapons again but because it is already in the "unlocks" in the game, nothing changed and the item did not become available. Any suggestions? SOmeone above said they played it on PC. due to the wonky nature of those two other DLC maps, i am hesitant to download and load up on PC... thoughts??

Tried this 20+ times on Console with no luck. Got it first try on PC. Honestly, we'll just have to take the PC win until they do something about it.

I got the achievment on the xbox I played in the bone zone with queen sigma and had Torrona's Box and both the victory sword(obviously) and the Flames of Misspell and the achievment popped in the end of the run (I quited after getting more then 100000 kills as that was the achievment I was going for) and 20 something minutes i also had Fuwalafuwaloo ,Phieraggi ,Vandalier and the armor upgrade(and all upgrades that are required for the weapons) I am not sure what of this things over came the bug (or if there was an update that fixed it) but if you replcate it might pop for you to

Refer to Torrona's Box (10G) for actual unlocking that item first. Once you've unlocked it, you need to find it during a run. It adds a little bit of curse but a bunch of buffs as well. The unique thing with Torrona's Box is that it has nine levels instead of eight, and the ninth level (max level) adds a huge amount of extra curse. So, be aware that when you get Torrona's Box to level 9, you're going to need to be quite strong to survive the very buffed enemies you're going to make.
