How to unlock the EXTRA: Whiteout achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide

Orologion is one of the pickups that has a chance to drop from light sources. Get 20 orologions to unlock this achievement. And you will unlock the new map ''Whiteout'' too.

Posted by doomedtolive: This one is retroactive. If you have found 20 previously just start a map and exit to pop it.

I started Mad Forest, and wanted to change characters so I quit from the Arcanas screen to the main screen and the achievement unlocked

I'm not sure if this is bugged with anyone else. I've done this and unlocked the achievement in game, but not on the Xbox. Same with EXTRA: Chaos Altemanna. Just a heads up for anyone.

Some achievements were known to be buggy on Xbox, but unlocked fine on cloud. Might be worth a shot loading the gane up on a phone.

They must've unlocked themselves over night. 196/196, baby!

That would explain why I got it after quoting when I realized I picked the wrong character haha. This one really didn’t need to be retroactive, but whatever.

The achievement is unlocked by collecting 20 Orologions (little stopwatches). These are pickups that drop from light sources and can be found on all levels.

If you have played before just load a level and quit out as it will unlock retroactively.

THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY A SOLUTION BUT JUST A FIX TO GET THIS TO UNLOCK IF YOU HAVE ALREADY GOTTEN IT BEFORE!!

If you got the in-game notification of this achievement and you didnt get the achievement on Xbox, then load up the whiteout level and exit it and you should be able to get the achievement.

However, if like me, this didnt work and the Xbox notification didnt pop, then the fix to this is my loading up the PC version of this game on the xbox app, if you have PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate, the game is available on PC Game Pass, simply load it up on pc if you have access to it on the xbox pc app and make sure that the game is syncing your data. Then when the game loads, you should get the achievement to pop.

An Orologion Is The Blue Little Clock That Sometimes Drops When You Destroy A Light Source.
- It "Freezes Time" For Everything Around You For 10 Seconds.

This Achievement Is Retroactive - So If You Have Played A Bit, The Achievement Pops At The End Of Your Next Run (You Can Even Start A Game And Quit Out, It Counts)

This Achievement Is Cumulative

The Achievement Pops At The End Of Your Run, After You Have Picked Up 20 Total.
Unlocks The Extra Stage: Whiteout.

Good Luck!

This achievement is cumulative and retroactive.

Orologions are the stopwatch powerups that, when collected, freeze all enemies and turn them blue. You will assuredly collect far beyond 20 by the time you complete the base game, but an easy way to grind them out is to replay Inlaid Library and go around breaking all the light sources, or play the second bonus stage and keep breaking light sources there.

Once you've collected a cumulative total of 20 of these across all runs, you'll unlock this achievement and the new level Whiteout.
