How to unlock the Mortaccio achievement in Vampire Survivors - Definitive Guide

Skeletons can be found in multiple levels throughout the game, including the first stage Mad Forest

Once you've killed one it'll be added to your Bestiary access from the main screen and you can see you body count.

They'll be sparse at first, but as you climb up in minutes, you'll have the whole screen swarming with them.

YMMV on how long it'll take to kill 3k, I had it unlocked within my first couple hours of playing. I believe during my first clearing run of Mad Forest.

Standard killing tactics apply, they go down fairly easy. You just need to have a decent setup to keep the horde at bay.

Screenshot here for what they look like and the Bestiary entry:

Where on earth do I find the Bestiary screen?? On my main menu I only have:

- Options (at the very top of screen)
- Start (top middle of screen)
- Power Up (green button middle of screen)
- Collection (to left of power up)
- Unlocks (to right of power up)
- Credits (below power up)

There is nothing to the left of credits for me. There are 5 boxes in a cross type shape in the middle of the page, the POWER UP green box in the middle with the start, unlocks, credits and collection clockwise around it....

Is it some kind of unlock?? As here's what I see: https://ibb.co/G3wyw9t

Ars Gouda is a relic located in Dairy Plant. Once collected, it permanently unlocks the Bestiary in the main menu, in which the player can view statistics for each enemy they have killed on their save.

So mine ended up unlocking at about 5k. Not sure if the description is wrong or if the progress got reset with the update or what, but if you hit 3k and it doesn't pop just keep going I guess.

I think the achievement description for this is wrong. I unlocked the bestiary before this and it told me I had killed 3,900ish skeletons. I did a run on mad forest and killed loads of them so I reckon it’s meant to say 5,000. Or it could have just glitched for me??

This is cumulative across all runs. Skeletons show up in most levels of the game, and you'll see them as early as the first stage. Once you start being able to survive beyond 10-15 minutes, you'll see significantly more skeletons, and eventually the entire screen will be full of them at one point during the first stage. By the time you're surviving to 20 minutes in the first stage, you'll easily kill 3000 skeletons, possibly in a single run.
