How to unlock the Good Job, Mods achievement in Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York - Definitive Guide

*MISSABLE* (See Enchanted To Meet You above for more important information regarding this.)

In general, when it comes to Hope, you want to present yourself as an interesting person, well aware of and into pop culture and the internet. Someone fun and not too overly serious and not aggressive. That is generally the answers that she prefers the most. The only way to fail this quest is to refuse to moderate Hope's chat.

As alluded to above, Hope will ask you to help her by becoming a moderator on her live chat website. Agree to help her and when this is all done, this trophy will pop. She will give you three rules to moderate the chat with:

  1. Ignore the messages that do not disrupt the chat (those mostly on topic and harmless).
  2. Kick anyone causing minor trouble (such as those who go too far off topic)
  3. Ban anyone who disrupts the chat (and/or is aggressive)

Most of the time it's fairly obvious which option to choose. One is a little tricky, but the others are easy.

Although I don't believe you'd fail even if you didn't get them right, below is the sequence order with the correct responses for a perfect run:

  1. "@sexybozo: hell yea, time to FUCK": Ignore.
  2. "@Masochist-sama: [omg*bunch of random letters*]": Ignore.
  3. "@hope_has_crabs_and_gonorrhea: hope, more like my favorite hoe": Kick then Ban back to back.
  4. "@Masochist-sama: [*another bunch of random letters*]": Kick.
  5. "@FUCCMAN: can u imagine USA assembling a bloodsucking squad that would just cruise by the border and suck blood out of any illegal they found? The very thought gives me the BIGGEST BONER.": Kick.
  6. "@Masochist-sama: [*even longer string of random letters*]": Ban.

*: Sometimes the sequence changes depending on if your choice was correct or incorrect. For example, the situation with Masochist is a little different than written here. If you first kick Masochist instead of ignoring him, Hope will chastise you. Similarly, if you ignore him the second time instead of kicking OR if you don’t ban the third time, Hope will ban him for you and mention you made a mistake, though that is still better than kicking him the first time. If you ban him the second time rather than kicking, Hope will chastise you for being too harsh.

Like with @Masochist above, if you ignore the @hope_has_crabs_and_gonorrhea user's post, he will come back and spam some worse replies, causing Hope to ban him herself and mention that you made a mistake.

Note that even if she chastises you and you make a couple mistakes, you'll still get the trophy regardless, so it's not a big deal whether you get everything 100% right or just 50%.
