How to unlock the That's better achievement in Vampyr - Definitive Guide
After crafting a weapon upgrade, you have a choice of two icons to the right of the level icon that will add a buff to your weapon. Press and hold A over whichever you prefer to add the module to you weapon and unlock the achievement.
This trophy is tied slightly to the previous:
By that, I mean, in order to actually use a module, you must have a weapon upgraded from its default state, or even in its default state if it is acquired later. Modules are add-on/attachment upgrades that will modify damage, stamina usage, stun ability, or something else to that effect that only affects that weapon. It will still require ingredients to attach one to the weapon, but should you want to later on, you can shift it from one to the other (with the provided items) to better suit your style. Simply choose one module for a weapon to get this trophy. For me, it actually unlocked as I was upgrading my stake to better help out in stunning before I got the stunning two-handed weaponry.

From any crafting bench, you can check the status of all your weapons and see if you can afford any upgrades. Once you upgrade a weapon, you'll also have the option to select a modification for that level if you have the appropriate components. Often this will add a bonus such as life leech or extra damage. Simply do this once to unlock the achievement.
Once you have enough crafting components to upgrade your weapon, go to a bench of choose a weapon to upgrade. Once upgraded, you’ll have the ability to add modifications to it if you posses the correct components. Choose one of the available upgrades that you prefer. They will vary depending on the type of weapon you choose.

Completed it in Act 2 by improving the machete, adding 10% damage to it.
