How to unlock the Air Play achievement in Vancouver 2010 - Definitive Guide

This is the first challenge on the intermediate mountain.

To unlock the achievement you need to score at least 7.20 seconds of airtime.

*NOTE: You Do Not need to come first in the race to win this achievement. I came 4th and it unlocked for me.

I would advise to wait a moment when the other boarders launch themselves at the start, your launch score doesn't affect your airtime and it will also give you a free run of the course without the worry of knocking into the other boarders.

Try to gain as much speed as possible throughout the course and especially before a jump by holding RT, but don't be afraid to let go of RT (or press LT to carve) and save yourself on a corner as this temporary loss of speed is better than falling and starting from standing still.

Pressing LT to carve will still work even if you hold RT at the same time.

When you hit a jump try to time pressing A with the edge of the snowboard meeting the edge of the ramp. This might take a few attempts to get right but it will get you better jumps and more airtime if you can master it :)

There isn't much to be said about this other than not missing your jumps. You will require 90+ for most jumps to get this. Also, go the fastest you can, as that will give you a little more air time.

So hold RT the whole course, press A at the right time and hope for the best.

You must achieve a target air time of 7.20 seconds during a Men's Snowboard Cross race. This may take a couple of tries, but as long as you keep a high average jump rating, like 90 +, you will finish this challenge. Make sure you hit once you are next to the line on the ramp. If you mess up your first and second jump, restart the challenge. Winning is not important, so don't worry about that, just time those jumps!
