How to unlock the Landing Zone achievement in Vancouver 2010 - Definitive Guide

You'll have to land within 10m of 90m the first jump and 120m the second jump.

You can get around the first one with perfect wind (0°), around 70 push off (you might have to play a little with this one) and no launch power.

For the second one, use perfect wind (0°), 100 push off and no launch power.

Thanks. They don't make it clear at all where you actually need to land.

This achievement is horrible..."suck, then suck a little less, perfection makes you lose.". Thanks for the distances, piece of cake after reading this.

Great solution. Only suggestion would be to have a push off of 65-75 for the first jump. Kept coming up just short when I'd have a push off 60-65 (less than 3 meters), but when I had a push off around 70 I'd be almost spot on.

Edited with your input. I don't have the game anymore to check, but I might have been slightly wrong.

There are 2 different landing areas in this Men's Ski Jump challenge. You must come within 10 m of each target to win. The 1st jump target is 90 m, which means that a very good jump is NOT what you want. You will need to stick the landing very quickly in order to reach the measly 90 m jump. With time, you will get a feel for when to hit . Once you successfully hit the 1st target, the 2nd jump target is 120 m. This is a much better jump, obviously, so nail a better jump! If you hit 100 on each of the point groups, you will still pass this target, so a solid but not-too-amazing jump is what you need. Practice, and you will know exactly where these distances are.
