How to unlock the One Day at DARPA achievement in Vanquish - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be unlocked on any difficulty. It is unlocked at the very beginning of the game once you take control of the main character Sam.

The game will force you to complete two tutorials to begin with and then gives you the option to skip the rest. If you complete all the tutorials, the achievement will unlock.

Also, if you do choose to skip the tutorials at this point, you can always use the main menu to go back and complete the tutorials later.

I have included a video that shows me working through all the tutorials, and getting re acquainted with the game controls. This video will give you a good idea of what to expect from each tutorial.

At the very beginning of the game you will be forced to complete two tutorials (camera controls and basic controls). You are given the option to skip the remaining four tutorials. You can complete them now or go to the title screen and select game and then tutorials and complete them. The achievement should unlock immediately after the last tutorial.

At the very beginning of the game, Elena will ask you to use your to check the camera controls and tell you to change them in the system settings if they seem inverted. After that, you'll come into a tutorial menu. Once you've gone through the full tutorial, the achievement will unlock. The tutorials to be done are:

  • Camera Controls
  • Basic Control
  • Movement
  • Weapons & Tactics
  • Close Quarter
  • AR Mode

You can get it even if you missed the workout at the beginning. When you enter the game, in the menu where it says New game, continue, etc. There is a Tutorial item. Enter it, complete all the tasks and the trophy is yours.

This trophy is quite easy, just go through the training at the beginning of the game. ATTENTION!!! This trophy can no longer be obtained when you miss training. I can't take it myself.
