How to unlock the Family Beef achievement in Venba - Definitive Guide

For most of these recipes, if you cannot interact with the ingredients, try first reading the cookbook if available or otherwise clicking on the little curly arrows to tell you more about the recipe. Then you should be able to begin.

To start cooking, do the following:

1) Add the spices in this order: cardamom, bay leaves, fennel, cloves (sometimes the precise order doesn't matter, but this is the permutation that worked for me).

2) Add the following ingredients in order (and this time, order matters): onions, ginger garlic paste, chili peppers, tomatoes.

3) Finally, touch it up with some salt, the remaining three powdered spices on the right, and then the beef broth. Finally add some water.

Time for the second part.

Now the trick to this one is that there are only two ingredients that you can use twice in the recipe: rice and beef. But you ask: all of the beef is already in the pot. How can I use it twice? Why, you are correct, however you will notice that we have an empty bowl on our cooking surface.

So do the following:

1) Use the bowl to scoop some of the beef out of the pot.

2) Add rice.

3) Add the beef back into the pot.

4) Add rice again.

5) Now add all of the remaining spices to the mix.

6) Put the lid back on the pot. Then pull it off.

Achievement should pop in a moment.

Chilies are peppers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chili_pepper

But I'll acquiesce and change it to "chili peppers."

It's cool. Here I am an American discussing the UK semantics of a game set in Canada. That's the Anglosphere for you.

I have no rice on my ingredients for this, nor can I use the empty bowl. Have they changed this or is this a glitch? :/

Edit: after for the first part, you need to add the salt + spices, and then the beef marinade and water, and then you get to the second part of the recipe!

You're all good. I missed a few in my guides as well. Just got confused as well due to the empty bowl after adding the ginger garlic paste.

You cook biriyani in Chapter 4.

Click on one of the small clouds to get some clues for the recipe and then go back by pressing the B button.

Part 1: Drag ingredients into the pot in this order: fennel seeds, cloves, bay leaves, cardamom, onions, chilies, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, biriyani masala, turmeric, chili powder, salt, marinated beef and water.

Part 2: Small cloud. Grab the red bowl on the right and take some gravy with it. Add rice in the pot, add the gravy back, and add rice again. Then add mint, saffron milk, fried onions, cilantro, ghee and cashews. Cover the pot and uncover it.

This one is a little tricky. It has to do mainly the order that you add the ingredients. Onions first, then garlic powder, then the chillies, and then the tomatoes. In the second part, you need to scoop out some gravy, add some rice, then re-add the scooped-out gravy, then more rice, and then everything else on top – in any order.
