How to unlock the No Drugs achievement in Venetica - Definitive Guide

To gain this you need to play the entire game whitout using any CONSUMABLE item. That mean healing potion, healing salve and foods.
What you can use to replenish youre health are:
- The beds or any resting place
- Rings that replenish health over time
- Weapons that replenish health when you kill an enemy
- The spells Blood Toll and Blood Vortex

It may sound hard but the easy fighting system of this game and the fact that you can die as often as you want as long as you have Twiligh energy left (wich replenish by killling people with the Scythe) make this a no brainer. If you still have problem then play on easy and save often.
If you did all that it should be awarded when the credits start rolling along with any other end game achievement.

Thanks for this Meiphora. Several places on the net including xbox.achievements.com say fountains and mental energy potions are ok. It's just health not all drugs.

I did not mention them since they are for replenishing your mental energy and not your health but you are right both of those does not affect the achievement.

It didn't pop. Not sure why. I never used food or health potions but I did use the ME top-ups, swords, rings etc. Oh well stuff happens. LA:Noire tomorrow. Bloody annoying though.

I do not know why it did not pop if you have use just what you said. only thing i can see is that you may have use something at the very begining of the game and you do not remember it or that the potion you use was replenishing both HP and ME (if one exist). What i did was selling everything i got unless i needed it for a quest, like the apple for the guy in front of the merchant square. I never used anything that was consumable at all just in case the achievement did not make the difference between ME and HP potion.

Thanks for trying to help. I'll go from scratch and avoid everthing just in case. I was ditching health items as you suggest, even the Devil's Cap etc. that give ME and subtract HP. The highlighted item in inv. may have jumped just as I hit use. I used the D-pad in the menus, the stick was even more sensitive. I'll get it eventually. It's not a chore to play again at all.

If there is such a thing as a glitch i do not know of it and i will welcome any one that can find one. This game is a huge amount of glitch and QA errors that i will not be surprise if a glitch for this achievement existed.

I accidentally used a healing item in the final battle while trying to use a magic potion. I then reloaded my last save and finished the game. The achievement did not pop. This is either because 1) any use of a healing item is registered permanently by the game or 2) magic potions void the achievement. To be safe I recommend not using anything whatsoever.

MISSABLE TROPHY
This sounds a lot harder than it actually is especially if you are playing on easy difficulty.

You can still heal yourself by sleeping or visiting a doctor, just do not use any healing items at all. I found it safer to just sell any I collected as soon as I could, just to avoid any risks. If you accidentally use a healing item, reload a previous save file and carry on from there.

Throughout the whole game simply do not use any potions or food having healing effect. You can use beds to rest, rings with a healing effect, spells stealing health from enemies, pay a doctor to heal you, drink from wells to restore mental powers and you can die and be revived using your twilight energy. Just don't consume any healing items at any time.

This trophy is easy to miss.

The trophy is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance, especially if you play the game on easy difficulty.

You cannot use any medicinal bottles, mushrooms, buns, etc. The most reliable way is to immediately sell all the healing items you find. At the same time, you can treat yourself with sleep, visiting a doctor, various magics, and even use a regenerating health ring. If you accidentally ate some healing item, load the last save and go from there.

Attention. Mana pots cannot be used either. In the final battle I drank two cans of mana and didn’t get the trophy. I replayed the battle without drinking mana cans and the trophy popped up
