How to unlock the Rogue Nightmare achievement in Venetica - Definitive Guide

There are six total rogue quarters (houses) in the game, two each in the outer city, inner city, and arsenal district. The achievement title is misleading; you have to clear all rogues in all three areas to get this one. In the outer and inner cities, you get the rogue quests from the guard captain of each area. In the arsenal, you get the quest from Kitten at the Ambrosial Lotus (the brothel near the entrance to the area). Kill all the rogues in all six houses, and this will pop. After clearing out one set of rogue houses, the Rogue Hunter achievement will pop as well.

Spoiler alert:
This achievement is missable! If you kill Mercutio at Largo's request, Kitten will not speak to you and you will not get the quest. Negotiate with Mercutio and you can get this quest from Kitten (Mercutio's boss).

You get three different quests; one in each district of Venice (Outer, Inner and Arsenal) that requests you clear each district of Rogues.

The location of each quest giver is:

  • Outer Venice - Guard Captain who is walking around outside the Amphitheatre
  • Inner Venice - Guard Captain who can be found in the Tavern
  • Arsenal - Kitten in the Ambrosial Lotus. Note, Kitten will only give you this quest as long as you do not kill Mercuito as part of the 'Secret Errands' quest

Clear all rogue quarters. There are two in the Outer City, the Inner City and also in the Arsenal. Make sure you kill them as part of the following quests:

Chasing Bandits in the Outer City: Guard Captain (Amphitheatre)
Chasing Bandits in the Inner City: Guard Captain (Inner City Tavern)
The Lesser Evil: from Kitten in the Ambrosial Lotus (Arsenal)

Note, the quest "The Lesser Evil" is missable, make sure that you solve the "Secret Errands" quest without killing Mercutio, otherwise Kitten will not talk to you anymore.
